Yeah, I gave these people my W2 so they could do it. The fee they charged me was $100. Maybe you should go open up your eyes $200 from The state and $86 for federal God you guys must be joking. I would never take my taxes to zip tax. No, I am not going to see you next year ending another thing. Why in the hell are these people getting back so big of a refund when you could only get me $200 and $65 from Feds zip tax is a joke. You know Charlotte Green would never charge me that much. And you have signs everywhere out front cheap been affordable. You even have a sign on the counter that says zero dollars for anybody that wants zip tax to do their taxes they’re going to charge you $100 every time they don’t care if you lost your job they don’t care about all they care about is if they got their hundred dollars

Scam. Was lied to about pricing. Got charged an arm and a leg by someone who we barely had a hour appointment with and you want to charge $800!? Then have the balls to add on a $100 “discount”. Are you Fr? Disgusting behavior to think you are worth $700/hour. Learn to do your own taxes people so you don’t depend on liars and cheaters

Zip Tax is amazing. I started a business just over a year ago and for anyone who has a business you know how hard your first year can be. I was very stressed about not having enough money to pay my taxes, not to mention I didn’t know what to expect for my first filing so I could only assume the worst. Lucky for me Heather put my mind at ease when she was able to get me several deductions which meant all of my worrying was for nothing. I have to give a huge shout out to Heather and her team at Zip Tax, they’re extremely knowledgeable at their trade and definitely hold themselves to a much higher standard of service then any other tax company I’ve ever utilized. I highly recommend getting your taxes prepared at Zip Tax if you want them done right.

Went into zip tax to see if we could get a form as the IRS office across the street was closed. Melinda Mills not only provided us with one of the forms needed, she taught me how to order the additional forms I needed from the IRS web site. All of the employees were friendly and helpful. Amazing customer service.

INCOMPETENT & DANGEROUS. My wife and I used Ziptax for three consecutive years for our personal taxes, and it has taken another two consecutive years to repair all the damage. I do not enjoy leaving 1-star reviews and rarely ever do, but this business has caused us so much distress that it would be unfair not to warn others before contacting this office.

We switched to another local tax resolution and preparation office, and we were stunned upon deeper investigation to find out just how bad our situation was after using Ziptax. We were slammed with IRS penalties, interest, and found that Ziptax not only neglected to file our taxes correctly, they also purposely left out write-offs they claimed had been entered. Ziptax filing errors and incompetence has cost us thousands of dollars, and we are still working to resolve the problems they caused.

The tax preparer we worked with overlooked basic forms that were needed to file for health insurance and college expenses, and ultimately refused to include legitimate tax write-offs on our behalf. We were then forced to file an IRS amendment, and she submitted incomplete documentation several times causing the IRS to close out the amendment due to missing information.

Ziptax makes no attempt to discuss your tax situation in an effort to maximize your refund or limit the amount owed. Our experience was that of a slam & jam tax prep company that simply looks for the fastest, easiest way to submit the return.

I have to assume Ziptax is at least capable of filing basic personal taxes on some level, otherwise they would be out of business by now. But do yourself a favor, interview your tax preparer before working with them and ask them about their process. We failed to do so initially with Ziptax, and it cost us dearly. Better yet, skip Ziptax altogether and find a more competent company in town.
