BEWARE!!!
I am so disappointed in the way business was handled by Wallace Tax Services. There were 3 occasions where I was given false information by an office lady. I highly suggest getting ANY and ALL information from Gerrie herself so that there won't be any confusion.
The first, when I initially called to inquire about having our business taxes done here, I asked for a price. I was told it would be $350 by one of the office ladies. After taxes were all said and done, I found out from Gerrie that the personal taxes alone were going to be around $360 and that our business taxes were $2,500. WOW! Talk about a shock.
The second, I was told on March 15th, the day business taxes are due, by an office lady that my taxes were done and were going to be filed that day. Come to find out, they were filing an extension that day and my taxes hadn't been touched. There was never any conversation about filing for an extension. I was under the impression that my taxes would be done by the due date as I had taken in my information the first week of February. (Had there been talk of an extension, this complaint would be void)
The third, I was told by an office lady that Gerrie had agreed to file the taxes for a total sum that was a quote I received from a CPA outside of their office (much lower than what they were charging) and she set me an appointment the next day to come in and sign. I showed up to sign whatever needed to be signed and Gerrie informed me that she was not going to file my taxes for said amount and sent me with my paperwork to go have them filed elsewhere. Again, receiving different information from her than from the office ladies.
I will say that every one of the ladies up there were kind and nice. This definitely made it all the more disappointing that the ball was dropped so many times.
