security moving like an airport and kept telling me to put my shirt back on while dancing. made me take my whole shoe off at the door search as well. like relax, doing a bit too much.

music was great shout out genesys, absolutely bangers but the steelyard was doing too much.

First time there for day session with DJ Sash. Went with my blind mate and the staff were brilliant. Made us feel welcome, were there if we needed anything. A good space and really enjoyed it, thanks!

I want to thank the staff here for making our night in many ways.
Beginning with security, kind and in good spirits, I want to thank Mark for his beautiful presence throughout!
Working our way into the bar where Liam was on top of everything thrown his way! His reading and anticipating of customer needs without us even vocalizing them is second to none. I do not think I saw him rest.
Last but not least, the man behind the scenes who I had a pleasure of meeting at the end, Alex, made me realize why this operation is running as it is. Because every level from security to management is in harmony!
I really appreciate the work environment they have and also know that it isn’t easy staying in the kind and patient attitude they displayed. In a club environment, we all know it can wear your patience.
Thanks again and hope they know it’s not gone unnoticed.

London Double Trouble

First time here, I'm amazed how there's not more nights that cater for a wider audience. It's such a great venue for music and I went here for a day party over the Easter weekend. Was a lot of fun!

It's right by cannon street station, central and just super easy all round.

Would highly recommend it if there's a night you have in mind ?

Staff were nice and overall had a solid time (sorry for a lack of photos, tells you how enjoyable the night was)

We went yesterday for an event so I can't judge the regular music played. However in terms of staff, they were friendly and helpful when a mistake was made. The vibes are really awesome and there is an area that you can relax on top.

I think by far what I liked the most is the ventilation, which is rare for a club. Great job on that.

Will definitely try it again.

Had a great start to the night at this venue but was completely ruined by their security team when I was trying to leave the venue with my girlfriend….. I was accused of trying to harass her and was accused of possibly being a murderer ! Absolutely disgusting behaviour and to top it off the gay female security manager had the cheek to try and ask for my girlfriends number 🙁

As a fellow licensed door supervisor this kind of behaviour from door staff gets us a bad name ! ….. a message to the owner of Steel Yard…… please please don’t let your staff behave like this 🙁

The steel yard is one of the best places I have ever been, they keep their venue so clean and create the most amazing atmosphere. Special thanks to the venue manager Kelly who came to make sure we were okay and looked after us and made us feel so welcomed and calm and comfortable. She is the most amazing person and venue manager. All of the staff were amazing and super friendly. Really couldn’t have asked for more for the most amazing night ?

Always had a great night here whether attending as a raver or working as a videographer. Soundsystem is off another level, the bar queue is always fairly quick and the staff and security are usually always very nice. The QUEUE outside can get very very long if you don''t arrive before 12-1amish. Once queued up for almost an hour which wasn't fun. People were pushing to get to the front which wasn't great either.
I left a piece of kit in the green room one night and the staff were good enough to keep it safe for me to collect another time. Always a pleasure working here!
