Incredibly bad communication and service. Just tired of being treated as an afterthought by folks in business to serve the public and I would say that Jonas sets the standard for treating a customer as captive as well as an afterthought. We closed two prior homes with Jonas years ago and was good service or just something in and out and was “decent” or “no complaints”. Not the case now. We hired another attorney who had to do a complete new title search and were treated wonderfully by Hinson and Faulk and we’re ready in 3 days. After a new title search. Just crazy, I mean I would say to anyone- if you don’t want to help people then just stop acting like it and just close your business.

No curtesy, no empathy, no compassion, zero flexibility, terrible portal for builders, unhelpful staff, and altogether horrible experience that ended with us cutting ties with this law firm after rescheduling our closing several times making our closing over a month later than originally planned. The Closing from Hell

We can not recommend the Jonas Law Firm (Jonas) in Denver for real estate matters. Of seventeen property settlements in five different states that we have had, the experience with Jonas was, by far, the absolute worst.

The individual responsible for handling the sale of our house managed to irritate and upset us by (1) preparing and distributing the HUD documents a day late (a critical matter since we were closing remotely), (2) not returning phone calls, (3) not answering emails or not responding in a timely manner, (4) erroneously omitting a purchase concession of $500 in the buyers favor, (5) adding a charge of $150 for preparing a “canned” document that had not been required in any prior closing nor by statute or realtor guideline, (6) sending (and charging for) a UPS label which was insufficient for sending the signed and notarized selling documents to arrive in time for closing, (7) changing their communications from my wife to me in the middle of the process causing duplication of effort, (8) using Microsoft secure email (a cumbersome process) when not required, and (9) being rude and extremely snarky in both oral and written communication with all parties.

In summary, this was a terrible experience for everyone involved.
