Called me and wouldn't tell me what the "personal matter" was and wanted me to give personal information. Also as I was talking the customer service rep kept trying to talk over me giving me little to no info. Number will be permanently blocked. What ever "personal matter" it is I'm sure they can figure it out.

They are absolutely rude !! I called to ask what my balance was and the lady was like what’s your social? Did not even introduce herself. I said I’m sorry can I just give you the last 4 I do not feel comfortable giving you my whole social. She said that’s not what I asked for and just hung up. When I called again a sweet lady answered but would not give me the name of the rude lady.

They are pawns of Chinese-owned Bank of the West, doing questionable business in the USA, in my opinion.
The Branch Manager Isabel actually by "mistake" lost or "shredded" my first signature card years ago when I became a customer. Things have gotten worse.
BMO, a Canadian bank bought them but, beware BMO paid a penalty in Canada for allegedly not protecting customers when a ponzi scheme victimized customers.
Now, I'm a victim of scammers, AI failure and human error including apparently not finding my phone number to call me IMMEDIATELY and or text me regarding scammers hijacking my account. I even called the fraud department to make a claim . They do not accept claims by phone, I was informed. How come other financial institutions can?

Turning me over to collections rather than calling me when I already sent a certified letter to Bank of the West/BMO was the final straw.

Why can other financial institutions reach me by telephone? Hmmmm

What I want:
Turn my claim over to FDIC and return any money I'm due to my account.

DO NOT LOSE MY PHONE NUMBER AGAIN!

The person that called me was very rude and unprofessional. And even custom out and gave me a really big attitude. Very inappropriate unprofessional and immature. And to top it off the person she called for wasn't even my name. Total harassment if you ask me. She even called me back 3 times

Called my husbands number asking for his mom. He was on blue tooth so I could hear and chime in. The woman was rude and said it was a personal matter. Then asked for my husband. We don't owe anyone. Told me to shut up and hubby hung up on her. It's probably one of those companies that buys old, expired debts and tries to collect on them. Get a real job, lady.

These people will hang up on you because they have no proof of the collection they put on your credit . Sounds like one ghetto people from the lowest side of earth. They like to randomly put stuff on people credit they don’t have enough evidence so call the credit bureau to have it removed . Also make sure you report them to the better business bureau as well as doing a ftc report on them.

Called me asking to verify my identity. Kept asking for my last 4 of my social and birthdate because they were calling for a “personal matter” but couldn’t tell me who they were or what their reason for calling was. Told me to google search “the best service company” and hung up on me because I wouldn’t just give them my info.

Called to get information on a debt that was cleared back in 2016 for $196 and the person on the phone said it was "not their policy to clear a serviced account". When I asked who could help me do that, she told me to do my research and hung up on me. This was in regards to when I closed my Bank of the West account and they had referred me to BS Company. They are extremely rude, unprofessional and I hope that their bad business practices come back threefold on them.
