I am very dissatisfied with the way they work here. Unless Albert is doing your taxes and getting paid for that, he won't make time to address any other concerns you have about additional IRS documents you receive. I emailed him all the documents and sent follow up emails. I called his office and was told to just email him. I would get the run around. It has been 7 months and still no response.

I don't even know where to begin. This has been the ABSOLUTE WORST experience I've ever encountered with a service of any kind. I was referred to Albert by a good friend, and he amended my 2019 tax return and also filed my 2021 taxes. The IRS then audited me for the 2021 tax year. I know that it's possible for this to happen, but I have never been audited in the 20+ years I've been filing taxes. Nonetheless, I tried to have Albert handle the responses, but he failed to answer or call me back after I contacted his office countless times. I don't live close to his office but because he wasn't calling me back, I decided to show up to his office. His employee scanned the IRS documents for my audit and told me Albert would handle the response the following week. I did not hear from Albert's office and had to call numerous times before they finally sent the audit response.

The IRS then sent another letter back stating that I still owe thousands of dollars. My friend who referred me was able to speak with Albert, as she was extremely frustrated and embarrassed by his behavior. I have a serious illness and have a lot going on, so she explained to him how this entire process has added more stress to my life. Albert told her that if I end up having to owe the IRS due to the audit, he would cover the cost for me.

Yet, when I spoke with his staffer, Nathaniel, to go over the audit information, he told me I needed to pay for Albert's services. I asked to speak to Albert directly and he said "Albert got hit with 5 errands today, so he's going to be busy." What kind of response is that? My friend and I then called back on three-way and explained the situation to Nathaniel. He spoke with Albert and told us that "Albert doesn't remember saying he'd pay anything and you're not obligated to go through our office to handle the audit." I couldn't believe it.

While dealing with the audit, I also realized that I never received my refund for the 2019 amended return (Albert handled this over a year ago). It turns out, he never even sent the information to the IRS. I've been calling Albert's office for FIVE MONTHS to get this taken care of, and I'm constantly getting the runaround from his staff and Albert never calls me back. I've even texted and called Albert directly.

He finally responded to one of my texts in April and said he was going to FedEx/overnight documents for me to sign so he can send in my amended return. It is now mid-July and I still have not received any documents. I've continued to call Albert's office and text/Call Albert directly, but he has not answered or responded to any of my messages.

I paid $525 dollars for him to amend my 2019 tax return and I have nothing to show for it. I've asked Albert numerous times for a refund rather than waiting for him to send in the paperwork (I don't trust him at this point). Of course, I haven't heard from Albert and have not been refunded.

I have worked and dealt with countless individuals and offices over my lifetime, and I can honestly say that Albert is the most unprofessional person I have ever met. He pretends to value his clients but completely fails to communicate, doesn't follow through, and makes ridiculous excuses/has his employees make excuses for his terrible behavior. PLEASE DO NOT USE HIS SERVICES. No one deserves this kind of treatment. I am now having to pursue legal action. [I would give 0 stars but Google doesn't let you]

I have been doing my taxes here for about 4-5 years at 1st everything was going well but this year I got documents in the mail from the IRS saying I owe money from a previous year I filed with Tax Guy Albert. And, it looks like they are trying to Audit me I brought this to the attention of Albert & he said he will be looking into this matter but it is very difficult to speak with him & see what is needed to rectify this situation accordingly. I know he gets busy but we all do in our respected fields I have left several messages with his team I have texted Albert directly left several voicemails he will sometime text me hey I will call you later that day but never does. On top of this we had an appt. to do my taxes in early April this year at a certain time & date but he calls me several hours later when I was not available. We re-scheduled for another time & date & he never called me or anything until I had to call his office to see what happened why no call I spoke with his team they said oh he had some type of emergency but if I didn't call I would of just been left in the dark. This was several weeks ago I call & call to speak with him but every time I get the same thing from his team he is always on the phone or he is not in then I leave messages directly to him via text & voicemail to get back to me but till his day I have not heard back from him at all. At this point l 'm very upset, frustrated & dissatisfied of the unprofessional overall service I think I will start to look at other options because it seems like I'm not getting anywhere here.

I did my taxes here for about 5 years and really liked their work. It wasn’t until this year in which I was super disappointed in their lack of professionalism! They don’t answer the phone because they are “working from home” but they don’t even reply back to emails . I got stood up multiple times for my appointment and they couldn’t even message me like professionals to reschedule or simply say they could see me. I was begging for their service like if they were going to do it for free. I emailed Anahi and Carlos and even messaged Jannett to see what was going on and no response. Who ever is in charge of the South Gate office , you really need to check up on these employees “working from home”.

Worst tax service ever. They filled my taxes incorrectly and a few months later I received a letter in the mail from the IRS Because of it. I called several times for them to correct this and each time I called I was told Felix was out of the office. I called and left messages and no one ever called me back

Would not recommend.
We were scheduled to do our taxes and we were never called back. We had to pay penalties to the IRS for being late. These company does not respect their clients and do not keep their promises. I would stay away.

They are good at completing one's taxes, but they are very disorganized. I've made two appointments on separate occasions with them and both experiences were bad. I called two days ahead of time to make the first appointment and when I call an hour before to reschedule, my appointment wasn't even in their system! I'm glad I called otherwise I could've been stood up. The second time was worse! I called a day ahead to schedule the second appointment and when I was running late for the appointment, I called to inform I was running late. I was then told my tax preparer had stepped out at the last minute, but no one had called me to inform me of this change. I then asked to see another preparer for the same day; I was told no one was available to assist me and to reschedule for another day. This is an outrage for me because I live far and traffic is very busy by the time I go to file my taxes. Anyone in the office could've called to let me know that I needed to reschedule, but no one did anything. I understand that last minute emergencies can happen to anyone, but this is a business we're talking about. It only takes one person to make a phone call. One phone call can go a long way.

Horrible customer service, should be a zero rating but I can only select 1 star. Been contacting this place speaking to Jeanette who prepared my taxes. I've been struggling to have her send my taxes documents via mail or email. Been over a month and I still have not seen anything in the mail. She was fast to charge me but slow to mail out my documents.
