I do not recommend living at Stonebridge Meadows Apartments. The on-site manager, Michael Carr, and their corporate office (Alexander Forrest Investments) are completely unresponsive and unprofessional.

We moved out of state in May and followed all proper move-out procedures. Despite this, they are claiming we owe rent for June and are now threatening us with eviction—even though we no longer live there. We’re seriously concerned about how this could affect our credit and are prepared to dispute it with legal counsel. We also plan to report this company to the Better Business Bureau.

Michael Carr does not answer phone calls or texts and refuses to provide an email address. He is almost never in the office and makes it nearly impossible to get support. I have photo evidence of multiple unanswered messages. On top of that, I’ve called corporate several times and spoken to agents who say someone will follow up—but no one ever does.

We also dealt with major safety and health issues during our lease. The smell of marijuana would frequently come through our vents and was affecting our toddler’s health. We were approached by people loitering outside and no longer felt safe living there.

The way tenants are treated is unacceptable and unethical. I strongly urge others to look elsewhere.

Conveniently located and updated units are nice! Application and approval process was simple as well. Management has been responsive and helpful on all needs so far.

Trying to get ahold of Michael Carr (the landlord) is like pulling teeth. He will not answer you and you will be left on the hook for any bogus fee they decide to put on your ledger. He does not do his job.

By far the best Apartment anyone could ask for. The manager helped me in every way she possibly could. Didn’t take advantage of me. Didn’t try to gain anything. Always put me first. They are really nice apartments. They made everything run smoothly. I would really recommend. Thank you!

I've lived in Stonebridge Meadows for a few years now. Management has always been just okay until recently. The new manager, Gary I believe, has been doing an excellent job since he took over. Maintenance has been very quick to respond lately and always finish the job before leaving. I was looking to move but things seem to be running more smooth under new management so I think I'll stay put.

Kevin is such a good manager, he is always there when I have questions about my apartment or anything I need help with. He is by far one of the best managers I've had. Ben is also a really good maintenance man he is really good at his job.

We’ve been residents of Stonebridge meadows for decade’s and really enjoy living here. We would like to take a moment to thank the new manager and owners for the upgrades that they have made to our apartment and to the property. It is all very much appreciated by our family and our fellow tenants. If you’re looking for a good place to live we highly recommend living here.
