She approached me like I was human and not some one who just can’t pay her bills. I have had a rough last 9 months. She was patient and kind. It’s a shame everyone can’t be like her. He went above and beyond and was very comforting and tried very hard to accommodate me because I was upset that my account was sent into collections. He’s an excellent worker and I really appreciated all the help he gave me. He was a gentleman and he Acted as a mediator between myself and the company with the equipment. I spoke to several representatives at SCSI. Each time I called, I spoke with another caring and knowledgeable person. Each person was very patient, and very thorough in their explanations. Okay so I contacted State Collections and I was hesitant because they're a bill collector. I had my paperwork in hand and I knew I was right. I spoke with Jeffrey and y'all, I was wrong. I thought I had paid everything that Prisma had sent and I was completely wrong. Crazy part is, I was okay with being wrong because Jeffrey was cool about it.

I wasn't fussing and he was extremely nice and I know he gets people who are fussing and cussing but how could you when he was so chill and collected.

He stayed with me while I reviewed United Healthcare's website, the MyChart app and I found my error. United Healthcare sucks btw. But Jeffrey was waiting patiently and didn't try to throw me off the phone because I was taking a while. I hate to give up some more money after I thought I'd paid everything but at least I feel as though I was heard and actually appreciated when I hung up that call.

I'm not sure about anything in this world anymore but I'm so grateful that someone heard me and allowed me to discover my own mistake instead of pushing me around and making me feel like I was "less than".

Jeffrey was actually someone I'd like to get bad news from because I could hear in his voice that it was going to be okay and I could see the light at the end of a pricey tunnel.

I explained to the collector that my rent and my insurance took up all of my pay check for Feb.7th. She said I can postdate a payment for Feb.21st. So I gave her my payment information. We hung up. Next thing you know, my bank notified me that SCSI processed it immediately. What's worse, I called back to beg them to reverse it, the CSR put me on hold for a long time claiming to be waiting for a manager. I asked for the manager's name and she said she didn't know who it would be. Eventually she said the charge won't go through because "it's being processed today". She repeated that more than once. It was evident that she was trying to get me to say I did want the payment to process today. It's Feb.10th and it did not reverse. I am trying to take care of the bill but this company has no problem with lying and causing even bigger financial difficulties in your life.
