The foods and drinks in this branch is the same all over the country. I just hope that there are staff who will do a crowd control. This branch can be very crowded from the opening time to closing because it is one of the famous branch in the country flocked with tourists. Most people who come to this branch just enter to take photos and videos and most of them don’t even order so they occupy a lot of space and not very fair to those who spent money to enjoy the ambiance and drinks. Even though this store was recently renovated, due to the crowd made my non-paying customers, paying customers cannot enjoy the view outside and couldn’t appreciate the interior of the store.

This is the Starbucks store known to have the spectacular view of the famous Shibuya scramble or crossing. Came in the evening to experience seeing the crossing whilst drinking a frappuccino in a lovely atmosphere. Though the seatings near the window are limited, everyone is kind to give someone else a chance to see the crossing happening.

However do note that this Starbucks store does NOT accept cash, but you can pay via a Suica (transportation) card if you don't wish to use your credit/debit card.

This one is at the first floor at Shibuya crossing. Very big Starbucks. Its always crowded as you can watch the worlds largest zebra crossing from here. Lots of souvenirs can be bought. To grab a coffee you need to be in the a for around 15-20 mins.

Really a very good place to catch a coffee. Snack or both, while observing the energy of the Shiybuya crossing. The branch was very busy while we were there, with probably 50% of visitors not there to buy coffee.
It’s very difficult for staff to move on those not purchasing and would require someone full time. As a result there are quite a few prime seats occupied by non paying people.
Good selection of food and usual good coffee.

They have similar recipe all over the world. Come here just because want to film a Shibuya crossing but Omg so many people here, too crowded by tourists who wants to take a picture or film Shibuya crossing. I'm in the line almost 15 minutes to order and get my drink. The chair also limited because so many people here, not convenient.

Expect long lines. Your USA Starbucks app won't work here. It will show all Japan Starbucks as unavailable if you want to pre-order and pay for your drinks. There's a one person stall on the first floor. I would recommend using the escalator and order from the 2nd floor. They have more workers at the 2F. There's only one sized drinks available. Tall. The view alone is worth visiting this location. There's also a 3rd floor option where you pay around 1600 yen for the lounge which includes an hour of viewing and one drink. I just did the 2nd floor option.

I didn’t know they reopened the day before I came here. Love the atmosphere and staff was super nice. I overheard that there was a staff that checked receipts to make sure you purchase something before you can be in the area to view Shibuya Crossing. However, I just went in the area to snap a few quick pictures and no one asked to see my receipt even though I didn’t purchase a few cups.

Nice place to get a good view of the famous Shibuya Crossing, though there are limited seats available near the window. I find the place quite noisy. You will get your usual doses of Starbucks caffeinated drinks and food here.
