I have worked for Sierra Management Group for a little over a year now and started at the company as an extern. The time I have spent with this company has been nothing short of an amazing experience. Everyday that I get up and head to work I know i'm going to learn something new and that it's going to be a great positive day. From the wonderful upper management staff to the many Doctors we work for/ under I have never felt so reassured that the love of medicine runs in my blood. One of my favorite things about working at Sierra Management is the positive environment and the fact that our staff has the chance to build relationships inside and outside of work. As a team we have raced at the Spartan in Monterey, rafted the American river, started a softball team ect. It truly is an amazing place to work if you have a passion for helping people and expanding your knowledge about medicine.

I have worked for Sierra Management Group for over 5 1/2 years now. We are a company that runs independent medical practices. Everyday we have the opportunity to make a difference in our community by supporting physicians who believe that medicine is an art and who want to practice the right way. We provide executive and on-site management, billing, finance, a centralized admin department consisting of surgery scheduling, referrals, medical records, contracting and credentialing. In addition, we staff the medical offices that we run with a team of highly skilled medical assistants and nurses who rotate through our different specialties (although we are not a staffing company). What I like most about working for Sierra Management Group is the family environment that our team has created. We have regular company team building events such as rafting trips, Spartan races, Thursday night softball, rock climbing adventures, bowling nights, just to name a few. It is a great place to work if you are passionate about medicine and want to work for a company that truly believes in its mission.

I started out at Sierra Management Group as an extern. I I instantly fell in love with the passion, support, and family-like atmosphere. Our company makes successful independent medicine possible.

This company provides an unparalleled amount of opportunity and truly cares about their employees. They organize endless company sponsored activities to provide a positive, team based environment. Spartan races, top golf, bowling, white water rafting, co-ed softball, and company parties to name a few adventures. Does this sound too good to be true? Well, to your surprise it is not. If you are lucky enough to be part of our team you too will appreciate this company and all that they do.

I've been part of the Sierra Management Group team for almost four years - initially hired as an X-Ray Tech at our Auburn location Urgent Care/Primary Care. Through working and learning with incredibly talented and passionate people, I quickly found myself immersed in the culture and mission of SMG. With our array of practices, no two days are the same - one day I may be taking X-Rays and splinting patients at one office, and the next setting up inventory in a new practice. Our work -
life balance at SMG is unparalleled - from sponsored Spartan Races and white water rafting trips, to a staff softball team and holiday parties. Management makes a huge effort to foster talent and determination, making mobility within the company absolutely possible. The environment, staff, and my experience with providers and management is one of genuine appreciation and accountability from all sides. It is truly encouraging and motivating to be surrounded by people who have such a passion for independent medicine and I am proud to be a part of the mission.

I did my internship at this place. I had no training or very little direction on how do do anything. There was one employee that helped me when I asked. I sat and did the same thing every day and that was to call insurance companies and find out if claims were payed or not. The head person Ian Bocye was the rudest most unprofessional person I have ever met, he could not even say good morning to myself and other interns. They let me go half way into my hours that I need completed with no explanation as to what I did wrong. Things happen for a reason because I was placed in a much more friendly, professional site and was hired full time after three days. I do not recommend this place to anyone for their internship.
