I found Profitwise Accounting on yelp. I was interested in meeting with them because they have experience preparing taxes and bookkeeping for E-commerce businesses and since I have an online business, I thought they might be a good fit. I called and set appointment, it was a fairly easy process. I met with Dave the CPA. He is a super easy guy to talk to, very honest and straightforward. He took his time and answered all of my questions thoroughly! I never felt rushed. Dave is very knowledgeable with tax code and was able to quickly extract important data from my previous returns and identify several areas of concern. After a great meeting I was ready to switch to Profitwise from my current CPA and bookkeeping firm. Unfortunately, I was in the middle of trying to open an offline store location. Needless to say, I felt overwhelmed by the prospect of switching companies. Over the next few months, we stayed in touch and although I wasn’t a client, my questions and inquiries were always met with a positive attitude and willingness to help.
Fast forward a few months, I was ready to move-forward with Profitwise, the team was awesome and helped me transition every step of the way. They currently provide monthly bookkeeping services, tax, tax planning, as well as CFO guidance. Profitwise immediately educated me about some of the deficits in my current business model and have prompted me to make immediate adjustments.
