I have nothing but good words to say about the services that I have received at pine valley. Upon entering the building I got a warm and cozy feeling, Maria the receptionist was very welcoming empathetic, almost nurturing in nature with me! I was paired up with a very warm, kind, understanding, and knowledgeable man named Josh G. He told me first thing that he was still studying for his degree and asked if I was ok with that.....I said yes.
I have not regretted that decision one bit. Josh's professionalism, and empathy for my plight is like no other. You see I was referred there by my doctor for simple grief counseling. To my surprise there were (and still are) so many doors and cobbyholes that come with simple " help me get though pain and loss" Josh not only took on my plight but is doing quite well, and I will be forever greatful for his support and willingness to help my and my family! Thank you pine valley for helping me love life and myself ! I'm giving not only them but Josh G. a big thumbs up!

I am incredibly disappointed with the management staff at this facility. We were referred to Pine Valley by our family practitioner. During my initial call to them they verified that they accepted our insurance and I proceeded to schedule an appointment for therapy for my child. We found the therapist kind and my child felt very comfortable with them. After 10 months I scheduled my second child for sessions with a different therapist. I found this therapist polite, patient, and caring but somewhat inexperienced. I was a bit concerned that they may not be able to fully understand the complexity of my child's needs but we continued to get to know the therapist and trusted that the organization had matched us with an appropriate professional based on my child's prior diagnosis and special needs. Two months after my second child started therapy I received an EMAIL informing me that all of our appointments had been cancelled with no other explanation. I called Pine Valley and was sent directly to voicemail. The following week I received a call back from a friendly receptionist that attempted to explain to me that they had entered our insurance incorrectly (10 months ago) and it was continuously being rejected. Furthermore she went on to say that they had corrected it (she checked the patient files and it had in fact NOT been corrected) and that our actual insurance company only covered licensed therapists when ours were not. There was an outstanding bill of over $14,000 that she didn't think we would have to pay because it was their mistake but she wasn't sure. She had been informed to cancel our appointments. I was told that I would need to speak to their Director Roberta to clear up the issue. Roberta was not available so I left another voicemail requesting a call back as soon as possible. I'm sorry but what medical professional cancels an important appointment without explanation and by email? I find this extremely unprofessional. I am also concerned because not once did they inform me that the therapists they were assigning to my children's care were interns so that I could make an informed decision in the best interest of my children. Two days later I received a brief voicemail from Roberta at 11am simply stating that she was returning my call but would be leaving the office sick in a few minutes. At 11:20am I called her back but she had already left so I proceeded to leave a 3rd voicemail. Two days later I called again in the morning requesting to speak to the Director Roberta and was told she was unavailable. I voiced my frustrations to a second receptionist and requested that she have Roberta call me that day and I left yet another voicemail for her. Not only is this poor customer service but more importantly it is regarding the mental health of my two children. I honestly do not understand why their director is avoiding talking to me. I called again that same afternoon and insisted to speak to Roberta or anyone else in management that could help resolve this issue for me that THEY CREATED. I was told that Roberta was the only person and that she was very busy with appointments and patients. Well, my children are patients too. The receptionist actually put me on hold so that she could talk to Roberta and then came back on the line to tell me that Roberta wasn't available to talk to me. Huh? She just talked to her! So I asked when Roberta would be in the office so that I could come in and speak with her face to face. Of course they would not tell me. I find the actions of Roberta Bronecki, the director of Pine Valley Services to be completely unprofessional and cowardly. Her staff admitted to making multiple mistakes regarding our family's patient files and she refuses to address the issues. Her avoidance of these matters is completely unprofessional and has been detrimental to the congruency of care for my children. As a mental health professional she should be ashamed of how she treats people that have entrusted their mental health and their lives to Pine Valley Services.

Filed a complaint about the counselor my son was seeing and then they stopped billing his secondary insurance and now haven't returned any calls regarding it in a year despite calling in multiple times to find out what's going on.

Don’t do business with them. They treat employees like garbage. Not only they’re underpaid but this small company never appreciate people who work with the clients at the residential. Employees were leaving without notice because they couldn’t take it anymore.
