Great people who really care. Claudette, whom I have had the most contact with over the past five years or so is such a awesome person. Dan took me in as a client after another tax preparer just keep leading me on, but actually never touching my business taxes. Dan took great care of setting me up tax wise and I will always bring my taxes to him. Honest, caring, friendly ppl! I have recommended his services to others in the same profession as myself and everyone who has used his services are very well satisfied. Trusted tax preparer and great staff!!!

Pace Tax... Awesome
I was reminded today of a few bad reviews here on this site...a lady came to me today mad over reading them! Saying she couldn't believe that someone could even post that.
One post from 5 years ago... I want to clarify a few things! First of all... Claudette is not Dan's secretary! She has been with Pace Tax for 25 years. She knows her stuff! Second...I've never heard her be rude to anyone! She's usually too nice and tries to help everyone!
We love Claudette!!!!
But, I guess if you are someones ex and trying to find out information about their return...you're not going to get it! I'm sure she was to the point about that!
As far as Dan returning calls and emails...Do you think he might have been a little busy? Working day and night to get out returns as fast as he can! Some emails he may answer if he is expecting information for a return, others just have to wait!...so all in all that post has inaccurate information and needs to be removed! Dan works seven days a week during tax season and puts his clients first!!
Now to the long time client...Yes it is sad that you left a business that has serviced your family for at least 10 years. I'm sure you didn't realize or maybe just didn't care... that Dan Pace took over a friends tax office who passed away in the middle of tax season! He and his staff unselfishly sacrificed to DO THE RIGHT THING, TO HONOR HIS MEMORY and help his family, by trying to take care of his clients. Unfortunately Dan took on more than he could handle! He did his best to take care of what he could...working long hours... seven days a week! He was unable to return some calls and emails due to his work load. He fell behind because he is human. He has always put his clients first! Sometimes we make decisions and statements without knowing the facts. I'm sorry you chose to do that...

I've never had anything but a pleasant experience getting my taxes done at Pace Tax. Dan is so friendly and really knows his stuff! Claudette is one of the friendliest people you will ever encounter. I guess my biggest issue would have to be, once they get to know you, you are their friends. And with that you can spend an hour just talking about life in general through your appointment as your taxes are done! So if that's an issue for you, I guess this isn't the place for you. But if you want friendly service and you don't mind a personal touch, this place I can highly recommend. For the record, some might think his fees are a little high, but I gladly pay the fee in order to get good and ACCURATE service, not some tossed-in numbers at a desk in Wal-Mart with someone who was trained only two weeks before!

I have used these guys for quite some time, and until recently have had great service. If you do not finish your taxes during your appointment, then you might as well forget getting them done in a timely manner. It has been a month since my appointment and my taxes still aren't finished. I may be looking for another tax preparer next year.

Pace is open Mon-Friday from 9-12 & 1-5 sign on the door says return at 1:15 and it’s a little after 1:30 and now one has unlocked the door, nor answered the phone. Two other people that were beside of us got tired of the wait and left. This is an inconvenience to a lot of people including mylself.
