While the doctor my mother sees at this office is ok, the staff is not good at all. Now that my mother is in a long term care facility, I am trying to act on her behalf, and my family has not had much luck dealing with the support staff at this office.

I must say that I don't take much pleasure in writing this, yet I do admit it has helped reduce my frustration in dealing with these folks being able to vent a little. While this is probably not the forum to complain and expect to get different results, I plan to follow up with the office's administration.

After calling this office on a Monday and asking for a call back from her doctor, THEY NEVER CALLED at all... and this is unfortunately not the first time we have experienced this over the years.

While the assistance we needed was minor in nature (albeit essential to my mother's mobility), I can't imagine relying on this office should a medical necessity arise. Unless you are prepared to have to overly advocate for yourself, look elsewhere.

Instead of being a solution during this healthcare epidemic, companies like this one are instead part of the problem. Don't waste time here, the doctors that practice for MVHS don't take their Hippocratic oath seriously to put it lightly.

I recently switched providers for my whole family due to various reasons. I chose Karissa Madden FNP as our Dr for myself and all 4 of my children. It took 5 months to get in for the first appointment, only to be seen by a different Dr. Because Karissa Madden FNP was out on maternity leave. That wasn't a problem because the Dr my kids seen was amazing and she listened to all of my concerns.
I have tried 5 different times to get my kids in to see the Dr I switched them to, only to be told she was still on leave. Still I thought, this isn't a problem.. until it was. There was no other provider for them to see and I had to find out from a different employee, outside of this office hours, that Karissa is not returning from her leave and the office knew this months ago.
So the reason for my low star review is because this office knew they lost a Dr and didn't tell any of her patients. I still have yet to be formally informed that my children no longer had a provider at this office and I have yet to be given any alternative options.
I have no idea if they can stay with this office and see the Dr they seen their first visit.. or if I have to find them a new Dr. ,Again..... when I try to call and ask this question... I'm told I will be transferred to someone that can help... But I get hung up on instead.

Office is a mess! Unprofessional and disorganized. When they don’t know the answer to a question, they disconnect the call and won’t pick up attempts to call back . Constant runaround to solve issues.. they just hope you go away…

I saw Dr. Madden for the first time in February and I really liked her. She was kind, patient and took the time to listen to me. She also sent me for all the bloodwork I asked for.
Again, she took the time to listen to my concerns about why I wanted the bloodwork.
Also, I did have an issue for a while with a referral and had to make multiple calls to the staff (but it wasn’t their fault. There was something with my referral that was denied) but the office was good at getting back to me and updating me. Very patient and kind staff overall from my experience

Kari Moorhead was the reason I left another physician. Her past reviews and recommendations from others led me to her. Never looked back. Always been completely satisfied. She takes the time needed. Most important is that she listens. She actually was the only one who was able to identify my health problem and with that I am thankful. I was never just a number in the system.

Kari Moorhead is a highly compassionate and educated physician. Always willing to listen and never feel rushed at an appointment. Would greatly recommend her . Has taken care of numerous family members
