My wife and I hired Steve & his team to complete our 2015 tax return. We received nothing short of white-glove treatment by the entire staff at Broyles & Company. We plan to hire Steve to complete next year's return.

You know as well as I do the frustration created with anything more than a basic 1040EZ. We tried to do our own taxes the four previous years, with each year more frustrating than the last. I wouldn't consider our case all that complex - some investment property, a handful of state returns from earned income across state lines, and some limited partnership investments requiring K-1s. For whatever reason, the tax software we tried to use just didn't align with the information we had, resulting in hours going through the prompts and trying to resolve discrepancies. It was a process we absolutely dreaded.

Steve and his team changed all that. We still had to do the legwork of gathering information, but that step was streamlined by Steve's intake process. We completed our intake packet, gathered supporting materials, and dropped everything off at his office.

A few weeks later, we heard back that our return was ready to review. Everything was delivered through a secure online portal, saving us trips to his office. A couple of weeks later, and once we finally had our last K-1, we were signing the return and Steve's team handled submitting.

Reflecting on our experience, it was one of the most enjoyable experiences I've ever had with a service provider. From the moment I met Steve, I could tell he loves doing what he does, which is great for those of us who have no desire to do what he does. And I mean that with all the respect accountants deserve. I consider Steve in a different league, and respect what he's doing for his clients, his community, his employees, and his family.
