Mia is the trustee for our father's trust - what a horrible nightmare. She ignores our emails about her padded invoices, refusal to provide her lawyer's invoice (which our trust pays!), and about her vindictive actions toward us. A trustee is supposed to care about a trust's beneficiary, but Mia just rips us off brutally. The going rate for a trustee is 1% of the value of the trust per year which would be about $20,000. Mia charges hourly and has charged nearly $80,000 (writing checks to herself with no oversight) - that is 4 times as much as the going rate! We spent so much time trying to pin her down on her overtaking of trust money, but her response is that we send too many emails, and they are lengthy and angry... but she ignores all questions.... CRUEL. I hope no other family suffers from her awful treatment.
