Mark has been our account/CPA for over ten years. He and his staff have provided timely and important direction for our business and personal accounting needs. Mark and our assigned bookkeeper are quick to respond to questions and patient when I’m behind in my role. I believe the rates for service are fair. My former accountant had me as a C corp and I was paying double social security taxes. Myself and the corporation had to match the taxes. Mark suggested I switch to a S corp and not have to pay double social security. He responds quickly to my email questions and after 20 years I have never had to pay penalties or interest on taxes owed because he makes sure I pay them on time.

I hired Mark Reader to handle all my business and personal accounting and taxes. By all accounts, he demonstrated a high level of incompetence by working up fictional numbers and creating imaginary - and very wrong - estimates of my tax liability that left me owing many thousands of dollars at the end of the year. I also was hit with hundreds of dollars in IRS penalties thanks to his grossly underestimating my quarterly liability. He charges a LOT for his services, so one should expect some level of expertise, which I did not experience. He’s also a condescending jerk.

Buyer beware. I would always advise anyone to avoid the risk of hiring Mark Reader by seeking professional CPA services elsewhere.
