Karen provided exceptional customer service and highly professional work for a very reasonable fee. She patiently coached me through the process. I’ve been very happy with Porter and Sack. I first started with them taking care of my personal taxes that needed to cover myself and my wife who lives and works in Germany. I moved on to having them handle my family trust taxes (x3) and have been working to set up my new sub-trust taxes with them. I have been happy with everything over the last 6 years.

Porter & Sack must not be set up for smaller businesses because over my 2-year relationship with them my calls and emails were consistently slow to be returned by my CPA (sometimes 4-5 days or even more would go by). I just got the sense I wasn’t a priority client (but they still charged me priority client prices, haha!). I finally moved on, deciding I deserve to be treated like a superstar client if I’m paying that much.

Extremely rude and dismissive

Wouldn’t give me 2 minutes to discuss completing my trust tax returns because she was “so busy with stacks of client work on her desk, I have to go” .click.
I was not even seeking to have them completed on time but she didn’t give me the time of day to explain this.
