We had been thinking about doing a renovation/addition for quite some time and choosing the right contractor was quite the challenge. We were so fortunate to find Greg at Junge Construction. The scope of our project was big: demolition, a new addition with a timber carport, and replacing old decks and siding. From our very first interview it was obvious that Greg was the right choice – the questions he asked, the attention to detail, and the clear communication of what we could expect was exceptional.
As the project got underway, Greg worked closely with our architects to make sure our dream became reality. The crew was amazing (Cato, Brian, Mark, Sebastian, Cole), and even though we encountered some unforeseen problems left to us by previous owners, all of the issues were handled quickly and professionally. Their commitment to getting things right made us feel so much better about the challenges we uncovered.
The craftsmanship was incredible in all aspects of the renovation – from the meticulous way the deck boards were installed to the plugs on the timber posts. There were so many details – everything turned out amazing.
Greg and his crew were very easy to work with, dependable, and kept the worksite incredibly clean, which was greatly appreciated since we lived on site for the duration of the project. Now that the project is complete, the addition feels perfectly integrated with the original house, and the new timber carport, decks and siding have totally transformed the outside. We couldn’t be happier with the final outcome!

I started with just a homesite and a plan to downsize and they turned it into the perfect place for me to retire! Reached out to Greg for a rotted section of structure on my home. Would not have been a very costly job (maybe a few thousand), but Greg was more than willing to take it on and help me out. He asked for photos and we spoke on the phone for a while and it was obvious Greg had reviewed the photos and had some excellent observations.

I ended up being able to repair the damaged area without hiring Greg, but I was very impressed with the professionalism of his operation in general and him in particular. His website is top notch and getting a time to talk easily booked. He even had someone communicating with me as the time approached and when he was slightly delayed. In short, if you are looking for a well organized and professional approach from a builder, you need to check him out.

Our project was a new, modern style home of approximately 2000 sq.ft. in Lake Adger, Mill Spring. A complication was doing the build from a distance, we live 1200 miles away in Minnesota. I spoke about the project with two national builders and four other recommended local builders.
Greg Junge was easily the most responsive and professional home builder we encountered. Greg and his business partner Sam met with us at our convenience for a plan review and get acquainted meeting. We judged him to be totally honest and transparent in discussing the various aspects and issues regarding our proposed build. We also had an on site meeting to get a clear understanding of other aspects of the actual build layout, including local/ county/state permit and inspection requirements and processes and a preliminary build timeline and schedule.
Throughout these initial steps Greg’s extensive experience as a home builder was readily apparent…he shared several applicable thought provoking ideas from previous build/remodel projects and also some good insight into the economics of solar applications and full basement vs. crawlspace tradeoffs, among others.
Greg is a full service builder. He has a licensed engineer for plan design/review, and a ready team of surveyors, grading and excavating contractors, and framers, plumbers, electricians, roofers, painters, etc. selected from the best of the area’s best of each. We felt very confident in selecting Greg Junge Construction to coordinate and supervise all aspects of the build.
