They really need to work on better communication. I brought my taxes there in early March and I wish they’d have told me that they were too busy to get my taxes done on time and would be filing an extension. Especially since the extension cost me over $1400 in late penalty. Instead I got zero communication, so I called on April 15. I asked if they were filing an extension and was rudely told “Well, if you haven’t heard anything yet then she must be.” I called every couple of weeks after that and was made to feel like a nuisance. They kept saying that they were working on it and would get back to me soon. They called me June 8th to ask a question they should have already known the answer to since we’d talked at the initial meeting (they thought we’d sold our whole farm and couldn’t understand why we didn’t get what it was appraised for when we’d actually only sold half of it, which was clearly written down and explained) and then I was assured it would be done the next week. They weren’t done until October 14 and now I have a huge late penalty. Unprofessional.
