My company, Alessa Therapeutics, retained Rajan and the iO life science team to help design and build a key tool set for an implantable drug delivery device. We engaged them very early on in the process to create a program plan outlining all the steps necessary for the design and implementation of the system. We adopted their quality system, including the Design History File, which is essential for validating the device and for ultimately submitting for ethics committee approval and FDA clearance.

We were looking for a development team that we could trust and form a partnership with. We were confident in Rajan and the iO life science team and knew that as issues arose, we would work through them together. We couldn’t afford to get half way through the project to discover that some part of the program wasn’t working or that the design did not meet the user needs. They listen carefully to their customers to figure out what is needed.

They also helped source and manage the prototype process, more advanced prototypes, and final design of the product. In the end we had a very successful project with a compliant device, ready for clinical trials.

Not only are they easy to work with and great collaborators, they are also flexible and creative thinkers. We would definitely work with them again and would be happy to refer them to others.
