When I first started coaching, I was told it was a requirement. From previous jobs, coaching meant something negative; a form of punishment, or a write up, so I wasn't at all enthused. I started my coaching with Rhonda, and became more and more comfortable coming to her with concerns to coach through. I've had some enlightening moments into my inner workings, and, through coaching, I was able to step back and take a deeper look at what was going on. Rhonda provides me with a safe space to work through my struggles; asking questions, and quiring about things I wouldn't have thought of. I've grown personally and professionally through my coaching. I've gained higher knowledge, become more independent, and I'm comfortable in my truths. I've become more open and honest. Having Rhonda as my coach gives me a trusting countability partner who I know is here to help me. Even when her schedule is full, she always finds time to help me work through whatever I'm struggling with. She is trusting, honest, and dependable! I definitely recommend!

Coaching with Rhonda inspired me to push myself to make the changes needed to become a stronger and more compassionate leader. The Leadership Coaching that is provided to our leadership team is so valuable. Many leaders or our team were hesitant to participate in coaching. However, once they began Leadership Coaching with Rhonda they were hooked. Her style of coaching inspires leaders to make needed changes through self-reflection and ongoing support.

I learned about Rhonda Ellis and INTOUCH Coaching from a colleague who had engaged her for coaching services. His experience with coaching was so impactful and meaningful that I found myself with coach envy! In the abstract I knew having a coach was a good thing and would be beneficial for me, but I also knew it would be an investment and would require a level of introspection and vulnerability that is not exactly comfortable. After several mergers, acquisitions, and organizational restructures, I found myself without a mentor or leader dedicated to helping me grow as a professional in my role. That fact was far more discomforting than my anticipatory discomfort of the introspection and vulnerability required of coaching. From our first meeting, Rhonda has been transparent, challenging (in a good way), and supportive. She makes you do the work. She holds you accountable to your commitments. She forces you to confront your assumptions, stories, and limiting beliefs and then she gives you TOOLS and GIFTS. Tools in the form of assessment tools, conversation, tools, growth tools, problem solving tools, and the list goes on and on. Coaching from Rhonda gave me many gifts, most notably perspective and confidence. Perspective to get out of my head and see a situation for what it is instead of what I am making it, and the confidence to know I have the skills, tools, knowledge, and abilities to manage it. I've never regretted engaging Rhonda as a coach and making the investment in myself.

Rhonda has been my coach in the past and she offered me a new perspective on leadership that I had never considered before. Truly life changing and she taught me to be curious in my leadership and less directive. She has also coached with my team and helped us resolve conflict in a positive and constructive way. I would highly recommend her to anyone who wants to grow and improve in their professional life!

Rhonda has been a fantastic coach. Being vulnerable is not an easy task for me, but it was easy with Rhonda. She asks the right questions to get one to really think about what changes they would like to make in their life. I'm definitely a better manager after coaching with Rhonda.

So I could write up several pages, on the impact Rhonda has had on my clinic, we had the pleasure of working with her for over 3 years. Rhonda, initially started working with my office administrator, who was looking to improve her leadership skills, not long into this process our administrator came to us, the physicians, to discuss hiring Rhonda to work with the entire clinic. Myself and my partners were bit skeptical at first, thinking we have a great clinic, with wonderful staff, offering excellent care. I could not have been more wrong. While we did offer excellent care to patients and had a great staff, what we were missing was a true mission, and how to instill this in our staff. Rhonda started out simple with us, mostly working with leadership skills, learning about different personality types, identifying these aspects in ourselves and our staff. From there, working on how to lead this group of individuals, and make them a team working together for a common goal. The coaching sessions were challenging, often with work to do on my own time, but over the first year, I could really see a difference in my own behavior, less frustration, less stress, communicating better with my staff and patients. I will say at first I dreaded coaching sessions, being made aware that just because I am the physician and owner, does not make me a good leader. Over time, I did come to enjoy the sessions, after reading several books on leadership, I got to a point where I finally had enough knowledge to identify issues in both myself and my clinic, and could bring these up in the coaching sessions.
As each new year came, we would make a plan on our goals for that year. We spent one year pretty much on emotional intelligence, Rhonda, now doing personal and group coaching sessions with physicians and all employees. As leaders we learned a great deal about how we managed things, and had many areas to improve upon. We worked on setting expectations and holding each other accountable for the work we are to do. Another year we spent on personal growth. As I look back over the time we spent working with Rhonda, I can say the culture of our clinic has greatly improved, seeing less turn over of employees. Our communication is so much better, we are actively listening to issues and figuring ways to correct problems, instead of ignoring them and hoping they go away. We have set aside time every quarter for team building, to make the time to spend outside of work having some fun and making connections with our staff is very rewarding for everyone.
We have instilled a mission statement that we strongly believe in and try to live up to everyday. Our clinic is in a much better place than it was 5 years ago, and I feel our staff is much happier. Obviously, not everyday is perfect, but we keep striving to improve each and every day.
Personally, working with Rhonda, really allowed me to identify my weaknesses as a leader. I am in a better place professionally now, than I was 4 years ago. I suspect if you as my staff, they will say I am much more enjoyable to work with now. I can also say the things I have learned has helped with relationships outside of my professional life as well.
I would highly recommend Rhonda, she has been a pleasure to work with over the years, and has instilled in our leadership not only the knowledge, but also the importance of good communication, of building a caring, compassionate work environment, no only for our patients but the entire staff.

Being a part of the Group Coaching with Rhonda from INTOUCH Coaching has helped to create a stronger bond with my peer group at work. Group coaching sessions have allowed us to share our vulnerabilities as well as our celebrations which has allowed us to gain more incite into what it takes to be a good coach ourselves.

Having InTouch coaching in Northwest Arkansas is such a unique opportunity for businesses, usually only available in much larger cities. Rhonda has many certifications and credentials for professional coaching, has authored book chapters, and is well qualified to help coach your team through improving customer service as well as helping provide opportunities to work through interpersonal conflict, communication issues, and burnout within the organization. She is always ready and available to do "on the spot" coaching which can be invaluable as details get hazy as situations pass. She is a thoughtful, genuine person as well as the consummate professional and always striving to improve her self and her offerings to the business, and she adds value to the organizations she touches.
