100/10. The best wedding planner around. You won't regret working with this incredible woman.

We can’t thank Sam enough. She made our day so incredibly special and stress free, and guided us through the entire wedding process with warmth, understanding, and skill.

From finding us a stellar florist when ours dropped out (before we even had the chance to stress about it) to organizing nannies for a creche, welcome bags, dress steaming, frames for family photos, seating logistics, taxis for our Loch Ness cruise, organizing a pre-wedding whisky tasting, and more than we can list, there was no task too big or small for Sam’s expert planning!
Even though we were in the US, in different time zones, Sam was fantastic at communicating with us. She was accommodating to our need for late-night calls, and kept things moving with our vendors while we were "offline." She also helped us save money wherever possible, without sacrificing any of the experience of the day, and was so organized, but also adaptable to our own organizational preferences.

She had great relationships with all of our vendors - who also sung her praises - and was able to work with them to accommodate our needs. Lastly, Sam made the planning process as stress-free as possible, letting us know when certain decisions needed to be made, what we had more time to think on, how certain decisions might affect others, and gave us all the local intel we needed to make informed decisions.

Most importantly, we had the most seamless, incredible wedding day that couldn’t have gone ANY better - behind the scenes, if there were any hiccups Sam made sure they were sorted before we were even aware. We absolutely couldn’t have done it without her, and honestly miss our late-night talks and whatsapp messages. Sam helped us accomplish everything we dreamed of and more, and helped our guests feel as appreciated and loved as we had hoped. They were even complimentary of how friendly, helpful, and welcoming Sam was!

Sam is a truly special person and planner. We will never stop being thankful for all she did for us. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking to make their experience one you'll never forget - for all the right reasons. ❤

Where do I start?!

If you are considering getting a wedding planner... Do not hesitate to use Sam at Hitched in the Highlands!

You will enjoy your wedding experience 10 times more by having Sam's help. She knows countless suppliers, has amazing wedding ideas and suggestions and is cheery throughout all the planning process.

I was absolutely hating my wedding planning as we had only given ourselves five months to plan and the stress was getting on top of me.

Sam took all of the stress away, and all I needed to do was enjoy myself on the day : )

A lot of us will only get married once, so do it properly and book Sam!

Where do I start…..Sam is one of the best humans on this planet! Not only is she warm, funny, meticulous and bubbly, boy can she plan a wedding 🤩.
Johan and I got married September 21st at my home, just outside of Inverness. Everything was perfect, it was the most fantastic day, and we have Sam to thank for that.
She is more than a wedding planner, she advised us when we needed it most, sourced incredible suppliers that we wouldn’t have found ourselves, and added so many unique and special elements to our wedding day that we wouldn’t have thought about.
She worked her socks off before and during the wedding, making sure the event went off without a hitch, and making sure Johan and I were fed and watered at all times 🥰.
Sam saved us money through her expertise and wisdom, we also spent money in areas that on reflection, made the wedding so spectacular for us. My Mum and Dad are still talking about Sam and I think, invited her for Christmas 😂.
Stop Googling for wedding planners, don’t remain on the fence, if you want your wedding to be then best day EVER and for your guest to have an incredible time, book Sam asap before someone else nabs her;)

Sam organized our beautiful fall elopement in the midst of the highlands this year. Not being from Scotland she managed to guide us amazingly through the entire process - from finding the right location, hotel, photographer and celebrant. Her suggestions were always right on point, reflecting her attention to detail and professionalism. Even a fully booked hotel does not stop her 😉 We had such a fun day and feel truly grateful to have found Sam!

Sam from Hitched in the Highlands is the BEST!! Every little detail of our elopement was perfectly organized. She thought of so many special details (like baby Yodas and light sabers for our May 4th wedding). We had interviewed other planners who said they didn't come to the elopement, but Sam was with us the entire way and ensured everything went smoothly. Bless her heart, we put her through quite a hike to get to our ceremony location and she was 100% in to make sure we had an amazing day. There's no way we could have pulled off our elopement without the G.O.A.T.!!! We were so lucky to have found Sam and loved her happy and joyous spirit.

Sam went above and beyond her duty and was the reason our wedding was perfect!

Everything from sourcing suppliers (at a discounted rate), directing people on the day (taking all the stress off our hands), and being on-hand to answer our questions and concerns, my Wife and I couldn't recommend Sam enough.

Since we live in London, Sam was integral to bridging the gap between London and The Highlands. She offered to collect our cake, drop off our favours, and dropped our wedding license back at the registration office after the wedding!

I don't say this lightly, but without Sam's involvement, the wedding would have been a fraction of the experience it ended up being! Her insight of Scotland allowed us to pick our surreal wedding location and accommodation, and plan our honey-moon in the Isle of Skye.

Well worth the money (and more in my opinion)! If your thinking of using wedding planner, I would strongly recommend using Sam.
