I Was in a tough place with a CPA that did not care about us or our business. She literally didn’t communicate or help create a tax plan which would = financial ruin if we didn’t act. I then found Andy and Tania from the Herbert financial group out of Monrovia. They gave us a consultation and helped create a tax plan. I was amazed at their customer service and personal touch. I appreciate their time energy and effort, they make you feel welcome and offer advise and ideas. * the Herbert financial group is the best CPA and financial group in three cities. I would give 6 stars if possible.

Paid hundreds to save tens of thousands. I only got my taxes done professionally this year because I somehow screwed up filing them. I'd always thought an accountant would be super expensive and pointless; it was $400 for them to take care of everything. But the reason they deserve a glowing review is because, without me saying anything, they contacted me and said, "We noticed you're paying a LOT of taxes, we want to meet with you, we think we can probably save you a lot of money." It began 100% their own initiative.

The meeting included not one but three people from the company. This was my favorite part, because it wasn't like someone trying to sell me something. They were genuinely working. I'm good at my own job, and I know how helpful it is to bounce ideas off a competent coworker. I didn't understand everything they said, but could see that's what they were doing. They circled back with a solid plan to help me save more money than I thought possible, and charged SO little. Another thing I liked is that they haven't been hounding me for paperwork or receipts--I always assumed an accountant would demand receipts for every purchase of the year, which I simply don't have, but they've been good about working with what I can provide and being patient with me.
