I hired Hall Engineering to assess some cracks in my slab foundation in my basement. Eric from Hall Engineering listened to what I wanted done and targeted his evaluation and assessment to meet my request. Eric was very professional while in my home and provided me with a report that had exactly what I asked for. The recommendation from Hall saved me from spending over $5000 right now as the cracks were not serious and required an "observe, and wait-and-see approach". I will definitely use Hall Engineering again for an unbiased assessment of our foundation.

Overall very pleased with the work Justin from Hall Engineering did. We were buying a property on a slope and our building inspector recommended we get someone to look at the crack in the foundation wall. The first company we had come out had some recommendations. The sellers wanted a second opinion and Hall Engineering Group was hired. Justin was very patient and took the time to go over the report with my wife and I over the phone at length and even agreed to clarify some gray areas in the original report, even providing recommendations to help prevent future issues in the future. I wouldn't hesitate to hire Justin in the future.

I'm working on a project which requires walls to be removed and had Hall engineering come out to inspect and engineer wall removal and LVL beam install. The inspector did an incomplete job and was too scared to go into the attic because the hatch was smaller than normal. He took incorrect measurements, so not only was the LVL beam sized incorrectly, they also did not add into their report what support is required for this design since the LVL will land over a doorway. Because of these errors, their report is unusable. They were paid $500 for something I cannot use and now I'm looking for a different engineer. I gave 2 stars simply because the inspector was nice, and I appreciate being able to steer all of my contractor friends away from Hall. Thanks for the trouble ?
