Front desk is rude and does not care. Phone calls are never returned. They just keep upping your dosage instead of getting to the culprit of the problem and working through it. Dr. Ary took me off my mood stabilizer cold turkey after being on it for years and now they won’t return my call asking for an appointment or medicine

She was rude and dismissive. She had no interest in listening to any of my concerns. She told me she was just for medication management (which is what I came to her for) but wouldn’t even listen when I tried to explain some of my symptoms that I wanted to avoid when switching medication. I came out feeling worse than when I went in. Would not recommend.

0 Stars!!! Worst receptionists I’ve ever encountered, this a psychiatrist office for people who have mental issues, from depression, anxiety, suicidal thoughts etc, and when you call up there the receptionists are rude, short and do not care about any issues you have. They will cut you off, talk over you and put you on hold without warning. This is not a caring nor nurturing environment for patients. All I asked was could I do my appointment over the phone or zoom to avoid missing an hour of work, and the gas for a 5 minute session so I can get my prescription refilled. She didn’t even acknowledge my problem and just said, so you want to cancel for today? She does not care about the patients that keep her employed and I will never go to a company that treats their patients like they don’t matter. What’s even more shameful is this is coming from a psychiatry office that should be there to help patients not worsening their symptoms.

My daughter had an allergic reaction to a medication she prescribed. Her throat and tongue were swollen obstructing her breathing. She took her off of it and released her less than 24 hours later with no replacement medication. My daughter left unmedicated and completely untreated.

Unfortunately, I go here because there aren’t any other facilities in the area. I believe they capitalize on this since they don’t operate efficiently enough to handle the patients’ needs properly. Good luck getting someone to call you back to schedule an appointment. It took me calling repeatedly after waiting a week to get a response. After a month, I finally had an appointment this morning at 9:10a. I’m sitting here now at 8:33a and just received a call from the office that the appointment is cancelled. They even sent me an email confirming the appointment at 8:05a! Idk if they’re low staffed or what but their practices suck. Mind you, those of us needing a place to treat for mental needs are better off away from this place. Every time I call, it’s an issue. Maybe it’s just this location, and the others are better. Idk. But I do know my experiences have been piss poor here.

I met with Misty and immediately enjoyed my experience. She said right up front that were weren’t in a hurry but she spoke fast. She talked to me about my needs and helped me understand some things I had questions about. Very helpful in my opinion.

If you are seeking help for mental health, do NOT go here. I recommended a fellow first responder seek help from a psychiatrist due to some of her issues. Despite her reluctance, she made an appointment. On her way there, she informed them she may possibly be a few minutes late, which they acknowledged without issue. When she arrived, she was TURNED AWAY and told that no exception could be made for being 5 minutes late and that she would have to reschedule. She informed them she lives over an hour away, but they refused to help her and only allowed her to reschedule. I contacted them by phone and despite asking for the manager of the office, I was only allowed to speak to "Shurryl." (Cheryl, I presume,) informed me that "they don't have a grace period" and it was the decision of the Dr. (Ary.) Due to my friend's job and school obligations, she had to reschedule for a day that she's on shift as a paramedic. The day of her rescheduled appointment, the office made ONE attempt to contact her by phone, did not leave a voice or text message, and she was NOT informed that her appointment was CANCELLED. My friend showed up a SECOND time and was refuse to be seen, due to the office's incompetence. Again, if you are seeking help from a medical professional for mental or emotional problems, avoid this place at all costs as they WILL NOT treat you with any respect or dignity and cannot handle even the most basic task of managing appointments.

Years ago I saw a counselor at Grayson and Associates as a teenager so I was familiar with the name. I called recently to set up an appointment, and the call-center told me my appointment was for today. The individual I spoke with told me she would send confirmation to my phone and email, but she never did. I showed up at my appointment today, and the receptionist told me the appointment was for next week. I wasted an hour in Highway 280 traffic and took off time from work because they messed up or changed my appointment time and never sent the confirmation. Calling back I could only reach the same call center that messed up in the first place (no chance to speak with the doctor, or even the same office location). The same individual in the call center repeatedly interrupted me and made it clear she was interested in nothing more than finishing the conversation and getting off the phone. I felt disrespected, and it was made clear that my time and my needs as a patient were utterly unimportant to Grayson and Associates. I will never call them again and recommend you not to as well.
