Review based on experience at The Professional Center: this I had grown my business to a place that now necessitated a more professional space. I used a realtor even, so as to do this correctly, and we sat down with Galaway Companies at lease signing. Something told me not to do this but I thought it was just first time lease signings jitters.

Within the month I lost over 2 thousand dollars in having to repeat appointments due to the voice level in the building (literally you can hear through the walls and some tenants actually place white noise machines outside of their rooms for this very reason). After losing thousands the first month they “allowed,” me to sign a NEW LEASE on a differential floor for more money and instead of using my initial start date (as they screwed me on so many things) they began another 12 month lease. They also refused to paint over the red walls the last tenant left behind when I realized it was going to cost me twice as much to cover it as it would have a white wall. Please keep in mind our lease also states we are responsible for bringing walls to a neutral color as we leave the building or they will charge us to do so before another tenant moves in etc).

The building runs on a code entry system. I SIGNED A LEASE that conveyed should we ever lock ourselves out, we would be afforded one emergency at no cost. My first Sunday there, I had a large scale group event, and the building would not accept my code nor let me in. I called into the number they gave me, so a super could meet me, as my lease says they will. Only the company DOES NOT have an emergency service for such events. So not only was this not my fault, (it’s been three months and my code still doesn’t work) I had to rent a hotel space and scramble last minute to make this happen. They comped me nothing. Never again will I rent anything run by Galaway companies. This building is noisy (excluding 4th floor) and they do not care what your lease says, they will hold you to your word, all while never once adhering to their end. Run, do not walk, away from anything Galaway is responsible for. Super shady and extremely disappointing for a first experience as a business owner.
