I have been going to this place for 3 years. The first 2 years was OK, I had a great doctor she knew what was going on and she left and moved back home. So I got switched to another doctor. Well this doctor took my health as a joke, she wanted to add more meds. My records I'm sure showed I had kidney disease and I also brought it up. Adding more meds put me at more of a risk to do more damage. With my panic attacks I have, rarely maybe once every 2 months. This caused me to miss work. I had asked for a leave of absence for those days so I would not get wrote up from my job. This was took as a joke and papers where not filled out. Also on this visit one of my prescriptions didn't get filled. So I'm very disappointed with this place, the lack of care and concerns of patients. I also asked what my bill was which I do yearly because I never get charged and end up with a huge bill. Well I was told they had no idea what I owed. Like what kind of place stays in business and don't get paid. I canceled my appointment via text. I haven't heard from anybody at this place. I would not recommend this place to anyone. I hope this helps others before they join this establishment.

Loved this place until Carole stopped my Trintellix medicine suddenly (I wanted to change meds) and she claimed that it wouldn't need to be weened off of since it stays in your system awhile. Next thing I know a few days later I feel extremely depressed, crying, can't calm myself down just extremely sad and crying for hours so I call her office to try and see if I can get back on that medication and maybe get a higher doseage instead since I figured obviously it must have worked and I just hadn't realized how well because I wasn't as motivated or happy recently.

When I stopped taking the meds I realized how bad things were before again and quickly regretted my decision to change meds which should have been an easy fix since I had only been off of them and on a new med a few days.

I expressed my concerns between tears over the phone to their office and expressed that it was an emergency, I mentioned suicide (because I didn't wanna get to a point I felt so bad I was suicidal and I know feeling as bad as I did it probably wouldn't be long before I did.)

What does Carole do?

Lie about what she said and claims that she never told me to stop taking Trintellix (even though there was a medical student in the room who could easily confirm what I am saying) despite the fact she never sent me any samples home or anything (since my insurance doesn't cover it she has been sending me home with samples) and then accuses me of lying about my suicidal thoughts being legit over email.

Terrible practice with fake and terrible people or at least the lady I saw was.

I'm seeing that this place either gets one star or five stars. We all know that means they're reviewing themselves to raise their ratings.
I absolutely HATE this place. You're never called back on time, they rarely return your call, they've NEVER gotten the meds ordered right, they even screw things up with your pharmacy. They blackout the window so that you can't see the reception area, so you can't see them sit and listen to the phone ring and not answer it.
Please, for the love of God, don't give them your business. I've even noticed that a "BOT" sends a generated reply after you leave your review. These people could care less about being professional.

My only complaint with this office is the therapist Linda. You have to see her before you are allowed to see the Doctor for the meds you need, which puts her in a position that gives her power over you. If she wants to, she can cancel your appointment with the Doctor and even has the power to discharge you. I called to check on my appointment last month and was told that Linda had discharged me for missing too many appointments. The appointments were, in fact, rescheduled, not canceled. And it was because my car has been broken down since July and I have to find rides up there. I was told this right when it was time for my meds to be prescribed, so without my meds, I went into withdrawal. I had been a patient with them for over 10 years and she knew very well that I needed my medication. I even called and desperately asked her to reconsider discharging me and I was told that my “discharge is final.” Just absolutely no compassion. As my therapist, I had a deep trust in her for the sake of my mental health and my sobriety, and I feel totally abandoned and betrayed. It also seems unethical to me. But it’s Linda’s world at this place. I’m just glad that I don’t have to live in it anymore!

Very disappointed . After my husband going there about 9 months, he thought was for counseling and medication management, was told to " find a therapist", "just didn't have time". When I questioned it I was told "they were only supposed to do medication management. My question is why wasn't this all explained at the beginning when we first started going? We'd never gone through this before. We didn't know what questions to even ask. Mental health is very important and it's very crucial to the well-being of everyone, but its very hard to maneuver through without proper advice without proper explanations of things. The ball was definitely dropped Also the young lady who said they never return calls, that they called a ghost review, Well I guess this is too cuz they never returned mine. This comment is for Ariel who also had problems there. My husband's therapist was also named Carol., small world

I have finally found a psychiatrist that is ACTUALLY helping me! She actually listens to me and is taking the time to help me find the combination of medication that works best for me. So grateful for Dr. Jolley ❤️

Go ANYWHERE else. This office violates NC Medicaid regulations and should be shut down. They never return calls and could care less about their patients in a mental health crisis. Witnessed someone having a panic attack in the waiting room after they were only 12 minutes early for their appointment instead of being 15 minutes early for their appointment AND THE OFFICE MANAGER CANCELLED THEIR APPOINTMENT! Disgusting.

I just want to reply to the facility who likes to bully patients who are simply reviewing and describing their less than stellar experiences with this office. I am protecting my own personal safety by reviewing under this account. I did leave a very real and true review for Monarch Health which I stand behind; just like I stand behind this review. This office is not a good option for anyone who is trying to receive consistent mental health care. I only describe one incident within this office; there are more. Phones rarely get answered, calls are hardly ever returned, e-mails go ignored/unanswered, mental health emergencies are treated as inconveniences; I could go on but the point is that this facility is not good for anyone’s mental health.
