UPDATE: They are now trying to force me to sing a new contract that requires me to pay yet another $1'000 fee for them to transfer my account to a new administrator. They are refusing to transfer my funds until I sign this contract, even though I already have a contract with them. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.

Original review: Small business owner and every step of the way this was an absolute nightmare company to work with: customer service is non existent, they do not help with anything, they request time sensitive documents at the last possible second, their owner platform is an absolute HTML disaster and so difficult to navigate. Not to mention they are incredibly expensive for absolutely no service. Go somewhere else.

DO NOT USE FINDEC! Horrible customer service. I own a small business and for 8 months, not a single contribution (20 total) have been submitted without issue or delay for my entire staff. What was suppose to be a simple fix on FinDec's side has been constant problem. There is no communication or transparency with this company. My account randomly got frozen, I immediately contacted my rep, but never heard from him. Had to find someone else to help me, which took a couple weeks because no one responds to you. A month later my rep said his team is looking into the issue...that was it. When I'm told the problem has been fixed, the same thing happens again and again. I've had to manually send FinDec my employees contribution amounts every 2 weeks for 8 months because they can't figure it out and even then, its still delayed. I was told at one point, every 6 weeks I would have to re-set-up my account for contributions to come through. I could go on and on. I really didn't want to switch companies because its a timely process to do so, but my patience has run out. This company is suppose to specialize in retirement accounts, yet seem to not have a care in the world that their client's 401k's are not be funded. I wrote a formal complaint over a month ago and still haven't heard back. Just finishing consulting with other 401k companies and will be making a switch. DO NOT USE FINDEC!

I have been trying to transfer 401K funds from FinDec for 2 YEARS! I've emailed and called a dozen times. If I actually get a response, I'm told my account management has been given to a new person. Over this period of time, there have been 4 different people "managing" my account, but no one responds. I've worked with several financial advisers and firms and have NEVER worked with a firm as unprofessional and unresponsive as this one! I would give them zero stars if that was possible. DO NOT GIVE YOUR MONEY TO FINDEC!

I have been trying to transfer my money to a different 401K for 3 months. No action is taken unless I call or send multiple email reminders. After 2 months my money was finally transferred but the amount was incorrect and now I have spent the last month trying to get that reconciled.

Additionally, I was never able to link my Findec account to any of my other financial planning platforms which is one of the reasons I decided to move my money.

Absolute worst company I've ever dealt with. Website is a joke- completely useless. Customer service is non-existent. It would not surprise me if there were only two to three employees in this company, and that's counting the CEO. Do Not do business with this company!

Incompetent customer service. I’ve called and emailed them multiple times and they take weeks to months to answer simple questions. I’ve explained after-tax contributions to the customer service agent on two separate calls. They should know that already.

From a company standpoint and individual plans , I highly suggest you look elsewhere. I will be reporting this company. They do not reply in a timely manner, they do everything they can to avoid giving you access to your funds.
