They opened exactly at 8. They allow 10 people inside the room where there were 7 counters. At 8 am only 2 windows were open for business. At 8:10 am 4 counters were operational.
4 more people were allowed to enter the waiting area.

Suggestions- if you are planning to buy new EZ-Pass, better to fill out the application online and come here with the reference number.

With 4 counters operation and being 10th in the line, everything was complete by 8:15.

In the counter it took only 2 minutes for me because (look at the suggestion)

An extremely pleasant and knowledgeable agent named Honey took care of me today. I would like to thank her by leaving a positive review for her assistance today! Hopefully other customers get to deal with Honey and experience her assistance in their ez pass needs as well as anytime in life they get the pleasure of speaking with her! God awful service. The absolute worst. I travelled in NJ for a week. Most tolls hit my PA EZ Pass no problem. Some didn't, don't know why don't care. They send me 5 violation notices for tolls all less than $6, with $50 fees applied, all threatening to send me to a collections agency if not paid. The website allows you to dispute 1 only, but never tells you that beforehand.

I call to resolve, quite iiterally an hour and 6 minute wait, and the woman on the phone was immediatly annoyed at me for calling. She did not help at all and was nasty and rude.

I'll vacation elsewhere. NJ is so wacked in so many ways, this just adding to the litany of them.

Why does it always take at least an hour to try to get through to someone? Who can stay on the phone for an hour during business hours? Dont people have to work!? Why do they not have enough staff!? And this TERRIBLE website!? They are collecting all OUR toll money and cannot even give proper service!? And then charge $50 admin fees!? Do they not read these thousands of negative reviews!? All these lawsuits have been attempted to be filed! This government needs to be removed and these people need to be held accountable. Taking “toll” money to allow us to drive on OUR roads that we pay for through our taxes!!

Crystal was fantastic. I did wait over an hour on hold to speak with someone, but she was kind listened to my case, looked for the documentation I submitted, and got someone to review my violation dispute. It's not resolved...yet. I do want to make sure everyone knows Crystal is polite and sweet to work with.

Understaffed to the max! When calling customer service the prerecorded message says to expect to wait on hold for 40 minutes, but in reality expect to wait on hold for at least an hour to an hour and a half. I tried calling them 3 times last week and had to hang up after 90 minutes and try again the next day because I couldn't wait on the phone any more!
I'm in New York Easy Pass customer and do not have a New Jersey E-ZPass account. When my account balance does not have Auto replenishment and my account goes into the negative, all of my tools get billed to me in the mail along with a fee and I must call them and wait on hold for ages to request that they transfer the bill and drop the fees to my New York E-ZPass account which by now I have already replenished. This is not functional. It should automatically transfer to my New York E-ZPass account. New York E-ZPass customer service is under the impression that it does but in fact it does not. Please fix this!

The call-in customer service is abysmal. You have to wait at least 40 minutes to talk to someone. Then they can't answer your questions. So you have to speak to a supervisor. No supervisor ever available so you have to get a call back. Call back timeframe is 7-10 days. Ridiculous. Whoever is hiring staff and managing the phone systems should be replaced.

NJ EZ pass is a money hungry organization. They send toll violations while you have a EZ pass. For the same day all my other tolls were processed normally except this one. My toll was $5.65 and the admin fee was $50.00. I did call customer service number multiple times. I waited literally for hours, nobody picked up the call. Obviously it is a monopoly business. Everyday people will always suffer.

Go up
