I was dreading doing taxes this year, since it was for a whole new type of return I had never seen before and I was out of state. I called Exact Tax bc my parents had worked with them for 10+ years. The team at Exact Tax was so helpful, especially Ben! They made the process smooth and I saved money in the end. Taxes are complicated... Its worth paying to make sure they are done correctly. Mary is an excellent and extremely knowledgeable tax accountant. I have been going to Mary for 8 years. Two years ago I moved 2 hours away but I make the drive to see her and will continue to do so. Mary asks the right questions resulting in positive outcomes even when I didn't expect to have deductions. Then she is very patient as I retrieve the requested documents online. Mary is very friendly and never hesitates to thoroughly explain answers to tax questions.

They get 1 star for filing my taxes and -4 stars for charging me more than my husband and blaming inflation. You’d think they’d give you a discount for being a repeat customer but instead their price goes up every year.

This place is terrible!!! The accountant there is very irresponsible and hard to communicate. We have to find another accounting firm to do our taxes and bookkeeping, and EXACT TAX gave us a hard time for transition by not giving us all the necessary documents; and they stopped to do our payroll prematurely so we have to scramble, very unprofessional. We feel so regret to have used them. I strongly suggest you stay away!!!
