Carey Lampel just yelled at me and hung up on me.

A couple years ago I called EBS to inquire about their services. I decided to go in another direction. I have never used them as a service. Ever since then though, they have been sending me links to upload my tax documents into their secure "Smart Vault" system. Unfortunately, the company I am using for tax preparation services also uses Smart Vault. Smart Vault now has the two accounts linked in their portal. When I went to upload my documents into Smart Vault for the other company, it mistakenly went into the EBS folder. So my first complaint is against Smart Vault - and their "secure system". Yes it was my error on the upload, but it was very confusing.

I went in to Smart Vault - there is no way to delete documents!! That is very frustrating. I sent two emails and two phone calls to EBS, asking to please delete all of my personal tax documents, and it all went completely unanswered. I could also see that 8 employees at EBS have access to all of my personal financial information.

Today, Carey finally answered the phone. She told me she had 2000 people to prepare taxes for. She said I am not a priority. She said they will get to it when they get to it. I informed her I was not comfortable with my information sitting up there with 8 people having access, to which she said I made the mistake and she'll get to it when she gets to it. Then she hung up on me.
