there was a female cashier on the 6th floor tax-free counter that was quite rude and sassy - she had just finished serving a customer and I was next in line to pay. she told me however that she was "busy" and that I needed to line up again, only for her to turn to her co-worker next to her to chat...

I would recommend going to other stores if you can. the service and lack of product selection here is not worth the trip.

The famous supermarket chain where one can literally get anything. There were many floors to this outlet but each floor was only a small area compared to the other stores that I had visited in Japan. Prices were competitive.

I really have a very bad experience here. I went shopping there with my friends and buy a lot of stuff there. At that moment there was discount for about 5-10% just by showing code to cashier which i did. But when i show it, the cashier just ignore me and talking to another cashier instead of listening about what i say. Until the end he just keep scaning my items and talking with another cashier. So in the end i dont get my discount. Well i try to talk with him again after realize that no discount in my bill, but instead of apologizing, he just blaming me and gaslighting me. 5-10% is not a very big deal for me, i just want to heard "okey im sorry that we make that mistake" and ill be probably getting over it, but the fact that he blaming and gaslighting me, it is the one that irritated me. Very very disappointing experience

Please avoid this Ikebukuro location.
We have been to many Donki stores in every stop for our trip. I would say this location is the worst Don Quijote store ever. Non-Japanese staffs at cashier had an attitude from some reason. I know the store is open for 24 hours if you can't be able to provide or assist customers. Please just stay home and don't come to work. You also told us "Bad service for bad customer." What did we do wrong? We stayed in the line trying to pay money like other people. Then, you told my sister had to wait another 10 mins to pay with different cashier. If it is just 1 cashier for 1 customer, please have a notice sign.

Also, only this location needs to have a signature on the credit card that you are using. if not, they will let you sign your card in front of them.

These are so ridiculous. Japanese owner for this store should take this issue seriously. Otherwise, no one would like to come back to your store anymore. The price is pretty same with other stores, but pro is open 24/7 and more stuffs varieties. meh:/

The donki across the Higashiguchi.
This store has everything you need. They offer a wide range of products, from snacks to branded items.
If you're a tourist who needs to buy gifts for your loved ones back home but doesn't have time to explore many stores, just shop here.
The tax-free cashiers are on the 6th floor.
They have English-speaking cashiers on the 6th floor, so you don’t need to worry about communication problems while paying. I wish they're a bit friendlier though...
The store is always crowded no matter what time you visit, so it might be uncomfortable to browse. If you are claustrophobic, I suggest to visit the other donki in Nishiguchi.

Amazing store full of everything! So many floors. Customer service is great. Had trouble finding Distilled Water and was shown where it was. If you're foreign like me, make sure to go to the 6th floor if you're making a big purchase because they will forgo the tax!

I had read bad review about this store, but since I was nearby the station, so I decided to give a try. I DO NOt recommend this store as the items are generally more expensive than other stores. And one thing to take note for those need to get tax fund by using credit card payment. You have to make sure your name on the credit card is excatly same as the name shown on your passport. I have my English name shown on my credit card, they did not allow me to make tax refund.

So try to avoid this store as much as you can.

Glad to share my reviews with all of you all, especially the tourist visiting Japan Tokyo!
