We were recommended to work with Len and Rick at DeMartini and associates about five years ago. We needed a local accountant who could fix our taxes as our previous accountant had made mistakes. They were very through and went back through several years of books to amend our taxes and enabled us to claim back thousands and thousands of dollars in tax over payments. Essentially turning our struggling business into one that made a profit.
Apart from amending our past years tax filings we have worked with them with regular filings and it has always been a smooth operation. They work directly with our bookkeepers and access our books online via QuickBooks. More recently with the pandemic Ashlee was able to guide us with applying for extra funds from the IRS with the Employee Retention Credits. Without Ashlee’s help we would have missed this assistance. Our company has been able to claim almost $200K from this government aid. As a restaurant owner we have been heavily impacted by the pandemic and the extra money means we don’t have to resort to dropping heavily into debt. I shared the information I learned from Ashlee with my friends who own restaurants too. None of them knew about this extra aid. So I want to thank DeMartini and Associates for being so through, checking and explaining everything we are entitled too. On behalf of my company with over 20 employees, thank you for keeping us strong to continue through times of difficulty. Be that due to pandemic or bad financial accounting from the past.
