Disappointed. She did our last years taxes promising that she could do better for us than the figure we got from another tax preparer. After 2 tries that I caught mistakes on that had to be redone (simple stuff, she left out our HSA, then 2nd try she forgot our AZ tax deduction, she was ready to submit, but luckily I checked both times), we submitted paying a high estimated tax due to the late date and a complicated construction project that would require closer scrutiny. She said she would go over it more and amend later if we could get more back. We heard nothing from her so we called in June and went back in. She assured us she would do the review and get back to us, nothing....after several months I contacted her again, more promises with no follow up. Last try was before Christmas, I was told it would be after the holidays, never got a call, just a packet sent for 2017 tax prep.

We were so fed up with the lack of follow up, I just said forget it and went in to collect my paper work.

So disappointing. She is a nice lady and she was recommended to us but at this point I question her thoroughness and follow up/communication. It may be that she took on more than she could handle.

Also, she charged us but never completed what she said she would do. We paid double last year trusting that she would complete the review she promised and now I have to hire someone else to do that review.

I would caution anyone who is considering using her to be a “squeaky wheel” in order to get any follow up you might need.

Started using Debra since we moved to Payson from California. Very knowledgeable and she along with her staff are very friendly. I will recommend her office to my friends and family.
