Don't know what the hate is all about. Got put in a renovated room. Hotel is nicely situated. Got the 4pm late checkout as a platinum. Free breakfast at lobby. Things may have been bad before but looks sorted out. Price is insane but so are other hotels in Tokyo these days....

I recently had another outstanding stay at the Courtyard Tokyo Ginza. Having stayed multiple times, I can confidently say that the level of hospitality, friendliness of the staff, and cleanliness are unmatched. The hotel is situated in a fantastic location and boasts brand new rooms with a modern design. This was probably the nicest Courtyard by Marriott hotel we ever stayed at. The service was excellent. The Front desk and breakfast staff were very attentive to our needs. Location is also great it's about a 10 min walk to Tsukiji and very close to Ginza shopping district. About 25 min walk to Tokyo Station as well. The Airport Limousine Shuttle bus also stops in front of the hotel which was very helpful.

I also previously read that the hotel does not honor Marriott Bonvoy Platinum benefits which was not the case for us. We were provided the breakfast buffet (which was excellent), an upgraded room and late checkout.

Thank you to the wonderful staff for your service. Would recommend staying here.

The hotel is nice, clean, and close to many high end retail stores. It was a bit costly but the location made it worth it. The neighborhood felt safe and there were many stores and restaurants within walking distance. The staff was very polite and helpful.

Great location to shopping and dining options in Ginza. Rooms are relatively big to Japan sizes, still not huge, sometimes gets super expensive with surge in demand, couple of other o options very close like AC Marriott

Clean and modern hotel. Small rooms could be more functional by better utilizing space, but still comfortable. Hotel has some attched restaurants, but not lively common space or amenities, which is fine if you're just wanting a place to sleep. Great location and friendly staff make it worth a stay, especially if competitively priced.

Love the location of this hotel, right at centre of Ginza!! Very easy walk to all the department stores, e.g. Ginza 6!!

The hotel is rather new with contemporary design which I really like. The room I got has no view outside the window but not a big deal!

The breakfast in the hotel is amazon go with lots of international options! love it!!
