I am a first time business buyer. I am calling Boutique Investment Banks to see if I can get help with capital. I called Cornerstone, and they told me they did not invest. They are more like Brokers for Buyer, or Seller side. Then the gentleman said they do, but the do not. What I just thought it was weird. He told me the guy I needed to speak with was Cameron, I think but he was out on business. I understand "Gatekeeping." Which is not kool, but how can someone that does not have the circle to elevate them in business buying do this? The business I am targeting has good financials , profits are good, management willing to stay. Just do not understand. I just say do not falsely advertise Investment if they do not.
