I am 75 and my husband is 74 and in a nursing home. After 10 years of Client First doing our taxes, we received a letter stating they would no longer do our taxes because we would not pull all of our retirement funds out of where we had them invested prior to being invited by Client First to come to them so they could do our taxes. I called and told them my situation. They still said no. We had told them the first year they invited us to come that all our retirement funds had alread been set up. We were retired and had no more to invest. Maybe they should have been upfront the fist year they invited us, and tell us that unless we invest with them, they will not do our taxes. The guy I talked to said, "They are going in a different direction."

We tried Client First out and overall just had a bad experience. My wife has her own business and im a straight W2. The tax person, Morgan, who's not there anymore was dropping balls, missing details and wanting us to do things we were paying them to do. Their communication was poor and seemed frustrated with us asking details about things we're paying them to do. Very interested in managing my money for 2% a year with low returns compared to my Trowe price investments which doesn't charge me either. Wouldn't recommend.

Agree about being kicked to the curb after 10 years of them doing my taxes by a letter saying it’s my choice of not using their other services they offer. Geeze, I don’t have lots of money for investments. So much for a client first for 10 years with them.

They've been very good to work with both for filing taxes and general financial consulting. Everyone is respectful and prompt, and the cost is very reasonable. They are also able to help organize other general legal things such as POAs and insurance through their networks, which is convenient.
