We met Attorney Clark after strong referrals from administrators at Appalachian State. We needed an attorney to help with the legal quagmire of settling our deceased mother's estate. (There is nothing worse than the state of NC piling legal issues on top of grieving by surviving children).

I went for a $200 consultation with Heather Hennessee about a guardianship of estate case. It was very clear that Heather was disorganized and not knowledgeable in guardianship of estate (the firm claims they help with these cases and scheduled me with Heather.)
First of all, it took her 7 weeks to get back to me about the information she was going to gather -(she had given her word she would get back to me within 7days.)
After Heather did finally call me, she apologized and told me she had scheduled a meeting and would get back to me the same day. That of course, did not happen. It was not until after the work day on Friday afternoon that I receive a very unclear email about why she couldn’t take my case. I don’t mind that she couldn’t take the case. I do mind her extreme unprofessionalism and complete lack of knowledge in a very simple manner. Please do not waste your money on a lawyer who I can confidently say, does not know how to do her job.
