I have done our taxes with Turbo Tax since 1990. In 2021,I decided it was time to turn that job over to a CPA. I had just closed out my parents’ estate, and realized how much easier it would be for my daughter if there was an expert who she could turn to when her turn came.

Brian was recommended, and we set up an appointment to discuss the return. I explained that I wanted not only tax preparation, but someone who could “be me” in giving advice when I am no longer here. None of the potential complications I mentioned fazed him. I was pleased that he was willing for me to send our information in batches, rather than wait for every last K-1. And we could do everything via the Internet—no mailing documents back and forth or trips across town.

I couldn’t be happier with my decision. Brian was prompt to respond to any questions, and we had the return completed in March except for several K1s. They were quite delayed, so he filed an extension and determined the estimates that should be paid. I finally got the last K1 to him on September 5, and he finished the return.

Brian gave advice when needed, responded promptly to all questions, and waited patiently for the final documents. Once he had everything, the return was ready in two days. It felt like I was his only client, but I know that isn’t the case.

I am so pleased that Brian is now onboard to handle this tedious and important work for our family! I highly recommend Brian Marino, CPA!
