They deserve 10 stars!!! They are reliable, honest and operate with integrity. I highly recommend them to anyone who is looking for a Great transmission shop. Ron and Rhonda took the time to answer any questions I had, and provided me with all the options available from repair to replacement. Their quality of work exceeded my expectations. As a female, it can be difficult to find a mechanic you can trust with your vehicle, so I’m very happy to have been referred to Big Rhonda’s Transmission. Ron and Rhonda are the BEST!!!

This shop is lacking professionalism and fair business practices. I had my transmission rebuilt by Rhonda and by the time I got to Albuquerque, all the fluid had leaked and my van was running terribly. I called the shop to talk to about different options, and she refused to take responsibility and I was belittled for inquiring about reimbursement options. I had to drive the 3.5 hours back, spend over $100 on transmission fluid to top it off and make sure I got there safely. When I got to Rhonda’s shop, she fixed the problem and tried to send me off. When I brought up reimbursement options she became hostile and wouldn’t (couldn’t) explain to me why she didn’t think I deserved reimbursement for the money I had to spend to get back there. Eventually she threw some money at me then walked away. Good times!

AVOID THIS PLACE LIKE THE PLAGUE!

Sold us a faulty “rebuilt” transmission that was gushing fluid within hours of leaving the shop. Were VERY rude and did everything they could to not take the blame for it, would not reimburse is for anything even gas to get back there. After “fixing it” the transmission gears have been constantly grinding and lurching. Vehicle is back in the shop weeks later where it’ll likely need another a new transmission. Paid thousands of dollars for weeks of stress and didnt even get a working transmission in the end. These folks should not be in this business.

Our 94 Suburban broke down with transmission failure on a trip from Table Rock Lake, Missouri, to Page Arizona. The tow company recommended Big Rhonda's Transmissions.
The service was outstanding! They started working on it at about 9 am. They had a 4l60e transmission in stock that they rebuilt. The quality of work is great, and they were thorough. Those ladies had us back on the road by 5 pm the same day. The price was very reasonable along with superior service.
If there's anywhere to get your transmission fixed on route 66, it's Big Rhonda's Transmissions.

Paid thousands for a transmission replacement that was 5 days late while I was stranded in town. That “new” transmission was broken within weeks of leaving the shop.

Long story short, I can’t tell you how great Ron and Rhonda are. They went far and beyond, on a holiday weekend at that, to help us out and provide prompt and super service. They pretty much saved our vacation. Can’t say enough good things about this business. My faith in the goodness of humanity went up a few ticks after my experience with these immensely kind individuals.

Super friendly and professional ! Deserves a 5 star ⭐️
Not only were we warmly welcomed after office hours but we have been helped beyond what we could expect ! Ron offered us hospitality, identified our problem and went out of his way to find a replacement piece to fix our gearbox issue so we could continue our adventure! He was so friendly and helpful that we were speechless by his kindness !
We definitely recommend Big Rhonda’s Transmission as a place to go if you have any transmission issues ! They are friendly helpful generous and professional! Amazing customer service! Thank you for everything !
