The branches which have people’s safe box should be open on Saturday even for a short period of time. They used to be opened before Covid. On weekdays, they close sooner than other banks too. Why?
They have one teller in the bank and sometimes you have to wait for a long time.

We do all of our business banking here. That part is great. When we have to actually visit the branch, everyone is very friendly, but there is usually a wait since there is typically only one and sometimes two tellers. Just a little slow.

The most disrespectful staff. Not only to me but the person before me. Holding up customers to talk about the game with people in line and complaining. The seated staff looks up and acknowledged the disgruntled customers but not a one gets up to do anything about it. I went in to get special bills for tipping on vacation. 5’s and 10’s. You’ll have to wait I don’t have that in my drawer. Took the next 2 people in line before even getting up to get my money and the attitude was like I put them horribly out of their way. I’ll be changing banks. I must say though, the staff at Safeway Francisco Dr are exceptional.

Customer service is being sacrificed as the branch is moving more toward being solely a sales office. I was informed that since all tellers called in sick, they can't do any cash transactions today. I had a simple transaction, however the manager told me "as a manager, I can't handle cash". I called the 800 number and the customer service rep told me there is no policy that prevents a manager from handling cash - the rep even went so far as to tell me he personally has done cash transactions with his local B of A manager. Aside from this discrepancy, they failed to manage their staff so that there is a teller on hand - not a daunting task in my opinion as we are almost 3 years into COVID disruptions. However, not surprisingly, if you would like one of their loan products then there is enough staff for that. In other words, they seem to have trouble staffing for customer service but not for selling products. They also reduced their hours to 4 PM closing.

To be clear, this is not a review of this branch but of BofA itself. It amazes me how clueless BofA is about their customer service. Automation isn't everything. You need to plan for when multiple tellers call in sick. Cross training is not a new concept. This poor overworked teller went on a much deserved break and 3 other "managers" were sitting there discussing other important things amongst themselves while 5 of us were waiting in line. One of them said, they don't have access to the teller's system. Whew! Where do I begin!

For two days in a row I showed up at this branch and there were no tellers on duty. Today the manager sent me to the Cameron Park location, assuring me they would have tellers on duty. That location is ATM only, with video chat capabilities, but they are not operational yet. Terrible customer service!

I tried making an appointment online and after going through the website it finally says "We're not making any appointments" I tried this at 7 different branch offices. I called customer service main number and was told the branch is open, no appointment necessary, just go there. I called the branch twice anyway being an hour away. They never answered the phone. I went down there and was told they won't help me because I didn't make an appointment. The bank manager owned absolutely nothing. I have a lot of money at this bank and was going to deposit 250K. I will find another bank and phase Bank of America out of my life. If the manager had owned or even acted like he cared It would have made a difference. This branch office is not run like any business that even has a minuscule idea about customer service.

Horrible Bank and the worst customer service! I tried cashing a $5000 check given to me for Christmas. It was given to me by my father in law who has been a B of A account holder forever.. I was told the amount was too large! Too large! YOU ARE A BANK FOR GODS SAKE! The manager was rude and refused to cash the check. Sadly the same manager did the same thing to me last year for a check in the same amount had to drag my father in law down to bank to cash for me. Ridiculous. I was told to go elsewhere. Don't bank here. Telling my father in law to pull his money out
