They get you to accept a position with the promise they will advocate for you to get a raise after a month since they start you at $14 an hour. It seems they have no intention of actually doing it for I worked through them for almost 8 months and they did nothing. Not a terrible company but will make promises they won't keep just to get you to accept a position, and yes I am still working through them and they have still done nothing.

I’ve called went in have been doing this for months. Seen on indeed openings over the weekend and have applied and called first thing every Monday. Even went to the airport to the company I’d be hired to if I got the job. They said yes we are hiring we have openings go through ascend. Turns out ascends staff loves to play games lie and from the looks like to discriminate. Terrible company even when they were known as 1 call. Don’t recommend to anyone. Lucky I have to give a star honestly I’d love to give you no stars.

My husband has been undoubtedly pleased with the opportunity to work for an amazing company. I couldn't be more proud him. He's an incredibly hard working, productive and reliable man for the job. Thus far he is the only one call staffing employee to not have missed a day of work, with the exception of last night due to we thought we may be having a baby early. My husband arrived for work the next evening for his graveyard shift and was sent home one hour later. The only explanation? The boss had an email from the on site supervisor from one call informing him that my husband was not to work any further until he attended the meeting she required. It's upsetting that the woman who recently made a mistake on my husband's hours, shorting them as well as the pay has disturbingly again caused shortage of work, hours and pay. Unfortunately he was not informed. No call. Of course at this time it is too late to call this supervisor. I have never seen my husband so displeased even as I reassure him. I'm sure this will all be resolved in due time.

My daughter went in to apply for a job and was refused even the application process. All because she had to take her 2 year old son, my grandson, in to the office with her. She is a single mother trying to make a good life for her kids. And they had no sign stating that there is no children allow. If they don't support single parents rights to work then maybe they should post it. So, we went to Elwood Staffing. They have no problems if you have to bring your kids with you. That's good service.

Literally the worse people to deal with. Give you attitude on the phone. Their insurance is absolutely the worse. Just apply on Americanwoodmarks website and not these clowns. 100% worse company to deal with honestly. I will save you the headache dealing with these people and their horrible company. DO NOT GO THROUGH THESE PEOPLE.

Don't tell them u have had surgery or have arthritis they won't want to send u out this place is a joke, I went and done my application and they had a job for me cleaning at the airport until they found out I've had back surgery in 2007 and now have arthritis in my lower back, I would never send anyone to them. I guess this what I get for being honest about my back. In my opinion they are a big joke
