For 3 years I've had the pleasure of using Akram & Associates as the tax accountants for my hedge fund, real estate firm, and personal taxes. Mr. Akram has always known the relevant tax issues and effectively applied them for me. He is reliable, on time, pleasant to do business with, up to date with changes in tax laws, and dedicated. He and his team work have worked after hours to ensure I received what I needed during tax season. Moreover, he has accommodated special issues for me, and I really respect and appreciate that. In my opinion the best service in the whole Triangle Area. Mr Akram is very caring and professional. He helped me and my husband with all the annual and quarterly taxes, explaining everything very clearly - thanks to him I know how to manage my business properly and effectively. He always finds time to help, even after work hours - and his financial advices are worth a lot! Additionally, I am getting all the updates about the tax law changes and we have a really great secure portal system for exchanging the documents - everything is simply and clearly organized. I need to underline, that I had been searching for a good accountant for a really long time. Luckily, I have finally found Mr Akram's firm and they took the best care of my business. This is the second year Akram & Associates has helped us with our taxes. Last year we were looking for a new accountant to help us with our complicated tax situation. We were referred to several accountants by a few of our friends and our realtor. I called / emailed all of them in early March. The ONLY firm who called me back (and within the same day!) was Akram & Associates. Muhammad actually called me back personally. He and his team are very attentive and customer-focused. They are also very knowledgeable and professional. This year, Muhammad found an error in my own worksheets which ended up saving us a lot of money. We feel very fortunate to have found an accountant we can count on for friendly, personal attention and expert service. We don't dread tax season anymore!
