Shopping here is always a great experience. Though it is my wife who is the primary quilter in the family, the employees here are always willing to entertain my uneducated questions. All the employees I have met, have been pleasant, knowledgeable and some downright hilarious. Their selection of fabrics is vast, with fabrics that appeal to a broad audience. I like this place and would recommend it to anyone who is in the hobby of quilting or, just thinking of starting. They also offer classes for quilters of all levels, I went to one where they got into the technical details of thread/thread making that was quite interesting and informative even for a non-quilter. Check it out, you won't be disappointed.

I have nothing but good comments to share about this quilt store in westminster, maryland. A great place to see and demonstrate a variety of machines. All the staff are knowledgeable and friendly. They carry embroidery supplies as well as fabric and a variety of notions. Excellent service for repairs. I traveled 3 hours one way to pick up a new machine and have my older one repaired. Very helpful in loading machines in your car. A good selection of sale fabrics. They have a beautiful classroom too. Everybody need to visit Sew'N Sweep at the mall in westminster close to Boscov's.

Great local quilt shop! This store keeps getting better and better! Fun, accessible classes, friendly staff and a great collection of basics and seasonal lines. I never leave without what I came for and then some! I also appreciate how the staff take the time to make sure what you are getting, whether sale fabric or an expensive machine, will work for you rather than just make a sale. I've never felt rushed when shopping even when Im just browsing. Customers are treated like friends and I highly recommend 🙂

AMAZING!!! THANK YOU, Jeremy and Johanna, owners of Sew ‘N Sweep, for a fantastic sewing machine repair experience! I brought in my Viking to be repaired and now it works perfectly. With the collapse of Husqvarna Viking Gallery stores, we owners of Vikings have been left without local expert service professionals in many areas. So, Jeremy, in Westminster, MD, has jumped in with his and Johanna’s dealership to help us in Virginia and West Virginia with repairs, parts and new machines. And their store is HUGE and beautiful! Very organized and friendly staff. As someone that knows nothing about sewing they were so happy to help me with my mother’s sewing machine. Easily could have tried to sell me another more expensive machine but they helped get the problem resolved with the machine instead! That’s incredible to me in this day and age

Wonderful, friendly, and knowledgeable staff who are always happy to help. Always feel welcomed when I come to the store. Amazing selection of fabrics, notions, and machines. Customer service is top notch - I am currently dealing with a machine that came with several issues (not the store's fault but issues from the manufacturer) and they are going above and beyond to be my advocate and assist me with getting the issues resolved. Whether you are just starting to sew or are an avid sewist, I would recommend coming in, checking out what the store has to offer, and talking to the staff. You won't regret it!
