Well do not report abuse from clients because these nurses do not protect you. My car was vandelized after reporting fraud. The nurses need the business from the State to secure they're jobs. So they don't make contact with paid caretakers who aren't really performing the jobs....they're just getting the benefits and sharing it with clients...while the clients live secretly through TMG Nurses and IRIS/GT independence

RUN and DO NOT USE this agency. It's changed for the worse. They must have changes in leadership and company changes (and not for the better). In all the years I have been with this agency, I've never had the problems I've had with them the past few months. They are the ones that made errors in my daughter's file and refuse to fix it. They don't apologize or due their due diligence. There is no accountability as well. The Consultants have very little power and the higher ups do not help them, either. Very disappointed in all the changes they've made. They are not participant centered anymore. They are profit centered. So, it's time for a change of us and to warn everyone else to stay away.

Our daughter has been a participant in IRIS at TMG for 5 years. IRIS program is indeed a wonderful concept. However in our experience TMG is unfortunately staffed with many people in decision making roles that, in my opinion, act as gate keepers to a participants personal budget. IRIS personal budgets are managed by ICAs which in this case, TMG is FOR profit. If you comment on TMG WI Facebook page asking them why they are denying so many participants goods and services, they remove your comment. If you repost question, they block you from their FB page. Is this behavior that our IRIS participants deserve for asking a legitimate question? I am appalled by the behavior and practices of this company.
They have denied requested medical equipment such as ramps, vehicle and home modifications and there is no accountability in their decisions. When they deny a request to a participant, the participant has the burden of proof in the appeal process. It is an unbelievable task for the disabled. Consultants work from home and have to make an appointment to talk to their supervisor. Consultants are not monitored on a regular basis.
TMG is not interested in working anything out with MetaStar. They make the participant go through the appeal process which is an intimidating and stressful process.
TMG plays games with participants during appeal process. It is concerning that DHS allows this behavior and treatment of participants in IRIS.
Nurse consultants are in my opinion "in name only", they are awful. Not very experienced at medical needs. Probably why they are not working in patient care.
Budget requests that go to appeal are taking on average 6-9 months from start to finish. They do make you feel like you are on trial for a crime...just to get goods and services that your loved one needs to stay healthy and alive.
I have serious concerns about an agency that oversees our medically complex daughter's budget and continues to deny life saving medical equipment. TMG also has a huge overturn in staff for IRIS consultants, so it is tough to get someone who is knowledgeable of their very complex policies. Oh and they are FOR- PROFIT.

This service is great at sales yet very abusive to participants. I do not recommend. Lots of gaslighting and refusal to serve their participants. Uncompassionate listening skills. I dont understand why they are in this business. Sales is their business. Compassion is not.
