The Scout and Grace team is AMAZING! I cannot recommend them enough. Our wedding in Western North Carolina had to be rescheduled due to hurricane Helene, and we found Miriam and her team after our original date. They joined us in the planning process as if they had been with us all along- just seamlessly picking up the pieces that our first planners left behind. They helped us to find wonderful vendors very quickly to complete our list of needs. They were able to tell us if a price was reasonable, and provide us with extensive knowledge of vendors and accommodations in the area. The design team (hey Erin!) worked with us by asking how we wanted our day to feel, and helped that feeling come to life in all the little details that tied our day together beautifully. Any question I had, Miriam could answer almost immediately. There were even a few details I looked over that the team made sure were cared for (like table numbers) without me even having to ask.

On the day of my wedding I was able to turn my brain off and truly just be a bride, which was such a nice luxury. The morning of our wedding Miriam came to let me know that our live wedding painter had cancelled on us that morning due to weather. Miriam could see that I was very upset about this and reached out to every single contact she knew to see if anyone could come THAT DAY and still paint at our wedding. Out of 12 artists she contacted, one said yes and Miriam somehow got her there within hours... talk about a miracle. We still had our wedding painter, and my night was made. It really pays to have a well connected team of planners in your corner on one of the most important days of your life! Because of the Scout and Grace team our wedding was beautiful, and it truly felt like we were living in a dream from start to finish. I cannot thank them enough! HIRE THEM!!!!!

My husband and I got married this past summer and we are beyond grateful to have found Miriam and her team to help create our absolute dream day. Miriam kept us up to speed with deadlines throughout our engagement season, came to tastings/meetings with us and she was just so eager to dream up our wedding day together. I had the absolute pleasure of working with Miriam and Haylee when they reached out to me on behalf of a bride whose original live painter canceled due to weather concerns. The bride was devastated. Apparently, this was one of the most important elements that she was looking forward to in her wedding day.

However, Miriam and Haylee could not such sadness cloud such a precious day and took matters into their own hands —they went above and beyond, reaching out to multiple painters across social media and email to find a solution.

Although I couldn’t make it in time for the ceremony, I offered an alternative to capture the special moment through photos I needed to paint the scene during the reception. These two handled everything with such grace and efficiency, from quick communication to ensuring I had all the details I needed to create a beautiful piece for their bride. This could not have been possible on my end if I did not receive the level of support they provided every step of the way.

Their dedication to their client’s happiness was truly inspiring. As a live painter, I’ve worked with many planners, but their care and professionalism stood out in every way. I can’t recommend them enough!
