I was late to an appointment and they wouldn't let me have the appointment when I told them I was in crisis because I needed my scheduled appointment they said it was no longer my appointment and to reschedule for a second time. My therapist never seemed to understand what I said and took it all exaggerated and made me feel crazier than I was when I was just expressing my feelings in therapy and gave me responses that I already *knew*, and acted like I didn't understand when I said I understood. If you've already been in therapy this particular therapist may no be for you because she comes at it from an angle of you having little to no self awareness.

I went for a letter, and told my therapist when I went that I needed a letter of recommendation, and that I was paying out of pocket. Long story short I needed some specific criteria listed in the letter that the nurse called “standard” and should have been in the letter. Upon asking my therapist to rewrite this letter she said she would, and asked for some clarification. I answered question after question and tried to help my therapist understand what I needed. I had paid like $400 and if I didn’t get this letter I’d have to wait months and spend even more money to get another letter. I communicated all of this to my therapist as well. Suddenly she said I had to schedule ANOTHER appointment (which I would have to pay out of pocket) and then completely ghosted me and never wrote the letter with the criteria. Her name is Hollie White. She was nice probably not bad at her job, just refused to do this simple correction and screwed me out of my money and time which really sucks.

I was a client of counselor Lora Reinders and I was basically dropped by Lora without an explanation or a recommendation of another counselor. She did offer a couple of additional sessions but I feel that obviously our relationship was strained at best at this point. Why then, would a normal human being subject themselves to additional unprofessional behaviors by their counselor? Worse yet is that Lora was highly recommended by a Psychologist Dr McCarthy whom I have a 13 year relationship with and whose recommendation I respect. Luckily I am not vindictive enough to go to the Wisconsin lisencing board to issue my complaint.
