I have been going to Trzinski tax ever since I could work. Never had an issue until Travis took over from his dad. Since then, I've been audited twice. He was able to get it corrected the first time. This most recent time(2020) was the final straw. Long story short, he kept telling me everything would be fine, even after I had gotten a notice from the IRS that they were witholding my refund for 2020, and that I owed $2000~ due to Travis's errors. These charges were also accumulating interest The notices kept coming, and instead of being told everything would be fine, I got "radio silence". It's been over 1.5 years now and Travis still has yet to return a phone call or an email. All my attempts to get an in person meeting with him have gone unanswered. You can find other reviews online of him treating other customers the same way. Stay far away from this "service".

Update: After Travis's error resulted in an audit from the federal government for the 2020 tax season, I received notice from the STATE this year that I owed them as well for the 2020 tax year. I took my issue over to H and R block. The women who helped me there took a look at my forms, printed me off a list of what I needed(3 or 4 documents that were easily acquired), and was able to get the audit dismissed. She said that if Travis would have done this, I most likely would've gotten my audit with federal dismissed as well. Literally all this man needed to do was pick up the phone or answer an email, and I wouldn't be out the money I had to pay for that audit. Sure, he may have some positive reviews, probably from friends, but do yourself a favor and find another tax preparer. It's all good with Travis until it isn't, and then you're on your own. Don't take that chance!

Best place in Portage County to get your taxes done. Very knowledgeable up to date on all the new tax laws. Very reasonably priced. I have been getting my taxes done there for over 25 years ,

Really trusted Travis with our taxes for 10 years. My boyfriend got audited two times within the 10 years. The first time Travis helped A LITTLE and we got maybe half the return back. This last time. Took forever just to get ahold of him. He told us a bogus answer to why we were getting audited. Sent in papers he claimed would fix the audit. Come to find out, he filed us both as head of household. He has NOT answered any calls from us, any emails, everytime I'd call his secretary would say he's with someone and would call back. Lies. He wouldn't even sit down with us. Cost us thousands of dollars. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND!!! Find yourself a smarter guy

Have been trying to get an amended tax form done for the past 3+ months. everytime I call and talk to him he claims it will be done the following day or week and I will receive a call. This has been going on for months now. Wouldn't recommend.

UPDATE

It's been an additional 2 weeks that I've attempted to contact Travis during his listed business hours with no answer or response.

2nd UPDATE

After calling his office repeatedly and getting no answer any of the times I called I had my family member call to try and get an answer and he picked up right away I told him I wanted all my my paperwork back immediately. My forms were completed and he didn't mail them, he had me mail them, and I have a feeling I won't be seeing any of my refund. Will post an additional update later.avoid this business at all costs unless you want to deal with this nightmare for months on end.
