Had Paul Gassner as our CPA for many years, always very satisfied with his service for both personal and business taxes. Switched to Steve this year and he's very nice too. We appreciate the prompt service at Gassner Company.

Gassner has always done a really good job at doing my taxes and getting me a decent return. The problem is their charge for doing so keeps going up every year. At one time I used to pay less then $100 (although this was quite awhile ago). Last year I was charged $165 and this year is $215. I don’t understand the reasoning behind the ever increasing charges. I avoided H&R Block because they were always the most expensive. Unfortunately Gassner has caught up to them which is disappointing to say the least. What’s next year? $250? $300? Just frustrating ☹️

Do not let Paul Gassner touch your finances. I had my taxes done by him a few years ago, and recently received an audit from the IRS claiming that my Federal refund was not reported. When I investigated why, I found out that Paul Gassner did not include the info on my 1040! I then emailed him hoping for some kind of resolution, he could at least pay the interest the Feds are charging me for the oversight years ago. After all, I did pay for him to do my taxes properly, and he didn't. I received no response, no apology, and I am stuck with the back taxes and interest charges. In the DirecTV commercial voice: "Stop back taxes and interest charges, switch to Turbotax."
